Everybody Has Some Hidden...

It's been a while since Katelyn and I have started dating. I'm quite impressed with myself for being there for my girlfriend whenever a certain someone comes around. It's pretty obvious who the person is. A certain white-haired fellow who flirts with Katelyn, but I digress. Even though we went off to a rocky start, it was beginning to get better as time went on.

There was one worry I have however. The looming wonder of who has the damaging secret still hovered over me. It kept encroaching in my mind for the days that followed that reading from Sasha. I've never been this nervous in my life, especially when I entered kindergarten. It did not feel right to think about, yet it kept coming around. Who would be the person to say it?

Katelyn: "(Y/n)!"

(y/n): "Huh?" I looked around and Katelyn brought me back to reality.

"Is something wrong? You've been looking off into space," Katelyn said, concern in her voice.

"I-I'm fine. It's just...drowsiness." My blue eyes were eyeing the ground. We were in the park after a secret date we had.

"What's going on? You've been quiet for the past hour." I eyed Katelyn's hand on top of my own. I sighed, looking into my girlfriend's own blue eyes.

(y/n): "I'm scared and it's been eating away at me."

Katelyn: "What do you mean?"

(y/n): "Weeks ago, Sasha read my palm and she said that our fates were now crossed and someone would come along to destroy our relationship."

Katelyn: "You believe that stuff?"

(y/n): "Not before that point. Because of that, I've been speculating about who would want to get in the way."

Katelyn: "Who do you have in mind?"

(y/n): "Let's see...there's my dad, your dad, Travis, Aph's mom..."

Katelyn: "Wow, you really thought this through, haven't you?"

(y/n): "Of course! I wouldn't want anyone to come between us."

Katelyn: "What would the secret be?"

(y/n): "I...don't know for sure. Whatever it might be, it might justify our dads' choice to not let us see each other."

We looked off to a family and some of their friends playing around the playground. I held Katelyn's hand gently and she held with the same amount of strength. I hope that whatever the secret is, it's just something that is not just something simple. I panned my ears to the many sounds that surrounded us. The cheerful voices of the people, the calming wind having the leaves brush against each other.

(y/n): "Katelyn."

Katelyn: "Hm?"

(y/n): "You're the best girl I've ever met. Remember that if that secret is very hurtful, I will always love you."

Katelyn: "Aww..." We embraced and I kiss her forehead. We let go and head our separate ways back to our homes. We hated it when we left each other. I don't want to risk not seeing Katelyn because of my desire to stay with her longer. It feels like a fairy tale story from when we were younger.

Walking away, I'm still anxious and paranoid about what the secret could even be. I looked up to the slightly cloudy sky. The clouds were white and puffy, some looking like shreds of a cotton ball. Who would tell the secret? How scathing is it? I shook my head and went back home, the cloud of paranoia looming over.

-Time Skip-

I yawned at my desk in math class while the teacher was talking about something. I had taken down some notes, but I just wanted to sleep. I was up all night, tossing and turning. I just could not sleep, knowing that the relationship may head down a path that would not be imagined. Let it be known that during the ordeal, some tears were shed.
