(2) When It All Began

Arianna has been working for Stan Corp for the past two years now. She went from being just his normal assistant to becoming more of his personal assistant. It was a few days before Sebastian was to fly out to Tokyo for a merger deal. She was getting all the contracts together when he buzzed here to come in the office. 

She walked in with the papers and she walked over to his desk with her longer blonde hair pulled back in ponytail with curls and her glasses on. She laid all the contracts down and he said "Thank you but that's not why I called you in here." 

"Oh.. well did you need something?' she said 

"Yeah a less sassy assistant" he said with smirk.

She rolled her eyes then he said "I need you to go with me." 

"Go with you where?' she said 

"To Tokyo." he said 

"I um Mr Stan why do you need me to go with you." she said 

"Because I need to make sure I'm not getting screwed over with this deal and I want you there to take notes like you do here." he said 

She was chewing the inside of her lip and he said "Besides you know about a thousand different languages Ms Bilingual." 

"Okay." she said 

Then Laura walked in with his 3 year old daughter Catalina walked in "Daddy." Catalina said as she came running. 

"Hey baby girl what are you and mama doing?' he said as he picked her up. 

"Well I had to take her to the doctor and I was wondering if you wanted to join us and maybe grab lunch." Laura said 

Arianna said "I'll get that stuff taken care of Mr Stan." as she walked out. 

Arianna sat down at her desk and started to book the flights in first class to Tokyo. Arianna watched as he walked out carrying Catalina and looked down and wished that she could find herself someone like him. A family man who loves his kids and wife will leave in the middle of the day to make sure his daughter's health is better. 

She was snapped out of reality when she got a text "Get two suites side by side charge it to the business card." from Sebastian 

"Yes sir." She typed out and sent him. 

She called the hotel and spoke to the receptionist at the hotel in Tokyo. Once she finished working that out then she took messages while he was out. She heard elevator ding 2 hours later then saw him walking alone. 

She followed him into his office and he said "Did you get everything worked out?'

"Um well the thing is that they didn't have any suites that were side by side the only had one left and it was a two bedroom and rooms on either side of the suite." she said

"That's fine I don't mind. I just wanted you close to make sure you were safe. I don't want to hire another assistant nobody is going to be able top you." he said 

She looked down and shook her head then he said "When do we leave?" 

"Thursday 4 AM First Class." she said 

"Good." he said

"Here are your messages you missed while you were out." she said as she hands him the messages. 

"Thank you." he said 

That afternoon she walked into her apartment and said "Well looks like I'm going to Tokyo."
