(10) Not So Civil

It was a Sunday that Laura was bringing them Catalina as soon as she got out of the car she went running to Sebastian and then ran to Arianna and hugged her when she picked her up and Catalina whispered "Please don't make me go back." 

Arianna made her look to Sebastian who didn't hear what she whispered but the moment he heard her say "Shh baby it's okay." He knew something was wrong and he said "See you Sunday Laura." then walked with them back to the elevators. 

"Cat baby what's wrong?' Sebastian said as soon as the doors closed she looked up at him with tears in her blue eyes and said "Daddy I want Anna to be my mommy I don't like my mommy." 

"Cat did you get in trouble." he said 

"No well I no I was not in trouble. Greg is mean too." she said 

They got inside then he took her into the kitchen and sat her up on the counter and pulled the same trick his mom use to pull on him to get him to tell her the truth. He pulled out some ben and jerry's chocolate ice cream and he said "Ice cream Cat." 

"I love ice cream daddy." she exclaimed.

He got two spoons and gave her one. "Now tell daddy and Arianna why you don't like mommy right now."

"Well because she likes to say mean things about you and Anna. She doesn't know I'm in the room till she turns out then she yells at me for saying that she shouldn't say mean things about you and Anna. I want Anna to be my mommy cause she's nice to me and she does things with me and plays with me nobody plays with me at mommy's house. Most of the time mommy locks me in my room and I sometimes I have to go potty and she won't let me out then she gets mad at me for going on myself but my room isn't like my room here I don't have my own potty. She lets Greg spank me daddy." she said

Sebastian dropped his spoon in the carton and he swallowed hard and said "Arianna get her upstairs check her over please." 

"Yeah baby." she said

"Come on Cat you want to take a bath in the big tub in our bathroom." she said as she helped her down. 

"Yay!" Catalina said 

Once she was out of the room Sebastian buried his face in his hands besides Arianna Catalina was his world and hurt to hear all she said to him. He pulled out his cellphone and called his mom to come over. Both of his parents and his siblings were told to come over within an hour Arianna checked her over for any sign of abuse she found a couple of bruises. on her back and butt.

Sebastian just leaned against the counter as she played in the water and Arianna hugged him and said ""We can't let her go back there Seb." 

"What am I suppose to Laura sorry you can't have her cause of what she just said to me." Sebastian said 

"Well tomorrow we ask her to come into the office and we talk to her and see what she says." she said 

"We can do that cause we have her this week she can't do nothing to her if she doesn't have her." he said as he wiped the tears he had. 

They got her dried and dressed then his family was over and he told her and Sean to go play in the playroom while they were in the kitchen Sebastian told his family what his daughter just told him. Susan his mom came over and hugged them both and said "You fight for full custody Sebastian I mean it we will all help you when you two need to go away for work." 

"Okay mom." he said 

That night he let her sleep in between them and held her all night long while holding Arianna's hand. The next morning they dropped her off at preschool then went to work once they got to work he texted Laura to tell her that he needed to talk to her about something to come by during their lunch hour.
