(4) Her Story

A few weeks later she showed up at work congested and coughing. She walked into his office and said "Here are your new contracts." 

"You sound horrible." he said 

"Thanks." she said sarcastically. 

"Go home get some rest come back when you feel better." he said 

"I can't miss work." she said 

"Arianna go to the doctor and get you some antibiotics and get some rest at home" he said 

She sighed and said "Fine." 

"Arianna I need you better cause this new contract is in Dublin and I need you with me I don't care what you say." he said

She looked down and he got up out of his chair and stood behind her. "They aren't you. She's not you and you know that." he whispered

"Then why do I get treated like them if I'm so special to you. I will go to Dublin but I'm getting my own room and I'm only going as your PA nothing else." she said 

Later that day she was laying in her bed after she went to the doctor and got some antibiotics then she heard Noah said "Oh look who it is the Greek God of Sex." 

"Who the hell is he talking about?' She whispered 

Then Sebastian came into her room and she said "What the hell are you doing here?'

He started to dump medicine on her and she said "You are being such a dad right now." 

"Well I am one." he said as he gave some medicine to her and she made a face "Ugh get the grape next time."

He smiled and said "Now you lay down and get some sleep I'm going to help Noah with dinner." 

"Gross you two better wash your hands." she said

"Hahaha" he said as he shut the door. 

He sat down at the bar top and he said "Noah.." 

Noah turned around and he said "I know that look you want to know why she is so guarded." 

"I just want to know why she won't let me in." he said 

Noah looked down and said "cause right now you are treating her like how everyone but me and my family have treated her." 

"What do you mean?' Sebastian said 

"Arianna was born to drug addicts that gave her up at birth she was bounced around through foster care when the parents couldn't handle her or they got "tired of her" they put her back in the system. She lost her virginity at 14 to a boy that wanted nothing more than to sleep with her just to see her boobs. And when she was 16 she made the toughest decision she's ever had to make and that is giving up her own baby she got pregnant I held her hand as she took her test I held her hand when she gave birth I held her for two weeks as she cried as she started to regret the decision she wasn't allowed to name her or have an open adoption. All she's known is people get tired of her and leave her when they are done with using her. She feels like you are using her for sex Sebastian I'm just going to be brutally honest." Noah said

Sebastian looked down and they heard sniffles coming from her room as she listened to Noah tell her story as to why she is the way she is. Sebastian got up and he went into her room and shut the door and stripped down to his boxers. He got in her bed and laid beside her then wiped her tears then he held her as they both fell asleep. A few days later she was back at the office feeling better. 

A week later they were in Dublin doing business and closed the deal. When they got back as she was unpacking Noah said "Um did you do online shopping." 

"No I've been out of town." she said as 3 women brought in boxes. Noah went into her room with her and he said "Well start with this one cause it has a card on it." 

"Get packed back up I have a surprise pack all the swim suits and summer dresses but leave the other dresses and bring the jewelry boxes too. -Sebastian"

"Holy Hell Arianna these dresses they are Versace Gucci and Chanel and Dior." Noah said 

"What the hell?' she whispered 

"Victoria Secret bikinis Tiffany and Co blue boxes what the hell did you do in Dublin." Noah said 

"I didn't do anything but do my job." she said

Then she started to pack her stuff up again and left the fancy dresses behind then she saw a limo parked outside. "What the hell is he doing?' she said as she walked downstairs. 

She walked out and the driver took her bag then opened the door for her. When she got in she saw Sebastian in jeans and t shirt. "What's going on?' she said 

"It's a surprise like I said." he said with a smile. 

They got to the airport and she wasn't paying attention to the destination when it was time to board and Sebastian refused to let her hold her own ticket. Then they got to their seats and she said "How are you doing this without Laura being suspicious." 

"Easy she's not home. She's in Texas with her family." he said with a wink. 

She got comfortable in her seat and fell asleep.
