(11) Surprise,Surprise

It was now March their deals with Paris and New Zealand had made the business better than it was before. Arianna stepped into the office and said "Baby I'll be back." 

He muted his conversation and he said "I'm sorry baby this is taking longer than I expected. But I will see you when you get back." 

She grabbed her stuff and headed down to her car and headed to her doctor's appointment. She had her birth control appointment that day she parked her car and went in and waited for them to call her back. Once she got back there they said "You know the drill Ms Phelps." as they hand her a pregnancy test. 

"Yeah yeah." She said as she goes into the bathroom. She pees on the stick closes the cap and leaves the bathroom then they take her to an exam room. 

She undressed and put the gown on and waited. Then a nurse comes in and says "We need to take some blood honey." 

"OKay." she said 

They draw some blood then left her there to wait some more. Finally the nurse comes back in after an hour and said "We need to move you to another room." 

So she grabbed her clothes and followed her to another room where she waited texted Sebastian telling her that it's taking longer than she thought for some reason. He texted her back on another conference call I miss you can't wait for dinner tonight with you. Love you baby.

Dr Carter came in and said "Ms Phelps." 

"Hi Dr Carter is something wrong? Like you have never needed blood work before when I have come in for my shot." she said 

"No nothing is wrong it's just that um well we aren't administering your birth control today." Dr Carter said 

"Um excuse me?' Arianna said 

"Your pregnant Ms Phelps." she said as she did her papsmear.

"I'm what?' she said 

"Pregnant. So now we can do an ultrasound I'm going to use the wand so you are going to feel some pressure your pee test was a positive so we wanted to be sure so we did your blood work hcg levels were elevated so let's see shall we." Dr Carter said

She pushed the wand into her and Arianna gasped then Dr Carter turned the sound on Arianna heard the heartbeat and she swallowed hard as she looked to the screen and saw a baby on the screen. 

"You look to be about 7 and half weeks you probably didn't even notice you were late. You are due in October." Dr Carter said as she did measurements then printed off copies for Arianna. She went over everything just like she did when she was 16 and Arianna said "Thank you." as she left still in shock. She put the ultrasounds in her purse then saw the time it was almost 4 o clock so she headed on home and told Sebastian that she was going home. 

Once she got home she started to get ready for their dinner date while Catalina was going to her cousin's birthday party with his mom. She was almost done getting ready when he came in and said "Hey baby you alright?' 

"Yeah I'm fine. Just tired." she said as she put her earrings in. 

They left an hour later to their dinner date she was glad that Sebastian didn't want wine but she had no idea that he was planning a surprise for her. Once they were done with dinner and dessert they headed over to his mom's house.

"Hey Sean happy birthday" Sebastian said 

"Thanks uncle Seb." Sean  said 

"Do you mind if I take the spotlight on your birthday?' he said
