The sun shined down on the forgotten temple of time, murmurs were spreading like a wild fire.
"Is that the Queen?" Some said,
"Or is it the bride?" Others asked.
Some thought it was Sidon, but he was already there hidden away somewhere.
Trumpets blared the royal introduction as the carriage doors were opened by a short, plump butler. Out you stepped first, the sun making your perfect facial features put the goddess to shame. Your dress was angled perfectly around your curves and the rulers crown sat perfectly aligned on your hair.
You were truly a sight for the lucky, not many got to stand in your presence, so the nervousness increased when the bride, your sister stepped out next to you.
"Her Majesty Queen ___ and Her Royal Highness Princess Zelda have arrived!" That was yours and Zelda's queue to walk in. The tradition in Hyrule is that a man (usually the father) walks the bride down the aisle, yet yours and Zelda's father had been dead for over 100 years now and you had no biological brothers. You told Zelda you would do it, but in actual fact Sidon was walking out to take Zelda himself as a surprise. You knew Zelda would love it as she was very fond of her brother in law.
"Er..Make was for His Majesty King Sidon of Hyrule and Zora's Domain!" A confused guard shouted across the crowds of people who were just as confused to see the best man walking back out of the temple!
"What is he doing ___? Oh no what's gone wrong now..?" Zelda's worried and confused voice made you even more excited for Sidon to reveal the little secret the two of you planned together.
Before Sidon reached you and Zelda properly he bowed like a gentlefish (I love saying that) and went to give you a kiss in front off all the people, which made you veryyy pink.
Looking at Zelda you watched as Sidon linked his arm with Zelda's and began to lead her down the Aisle.
"Wait! Are you serious?!" A cute and surprised face was planted on the young princesses face as she thanked you with joy and grasped Sidons arm when you nodded your head in acceptance.
Everyone had a heartfelt moment there, mostly because of the amazing thought but also because of the late king of Hyrule and how he couldn't be there to see Zelda's marriage.
Carrying Zelda's long dress as she walked down the aisle was something the Queen shouldn't do, but today wasn't about you being the Queen but it was about you being a sister. And you were sure you aced it.
The wedding lasted a while but the vows weren't too important to mention. So we shall skip to the after party.
People had said their speeches, including you and Sidon. But what you really wanted to do was dance with your dashingly handsome husband who was currently eating all the fish on display.
You seriously thought that was cannibalism.
"Hey...Sidon.." you tapped his arm slightly as he finished shovelling 3 fish cakes down his mouth.
"Mmm!" He tried to make a 'yes' sound while chewing.
You took his hand in yours, and looked him in the eyes. He began to worry because of the serious tone you were taking and swallowed the food whole.
Not being able to keep the serious manner you gave him a big smile and dragged him onto the dance floor before he could even agree to dancing!
Jazz music was playing all around you two, it was romantic and memorable, he had his arms placed on your shoulders and you tried to get your arms as high up as possible, but he was very tall.
It was just you and him left in the ballroom. It had to be at least 12AM, dancing to nothing you were leaning on his stomach and he lead the slow and sleepy dance.
"Hey sleepy head I think it's time you get some rest.." he whispered as you dozed off standing up.
"____?" No reply. You had fallen asleep!
Sighing, Sidon lifted you up bridal style (with ease of course) and swept you off up to yours and his bedchambers where he laid you down next to him and fell asleep...
