"___" a stern voice could be heard from behind you.
You looked up from your book and shuffled yourself up in your bed to look more presentable to your husband. (Not that he cared)
"S-Sidon! You're back so soon!" You smiled, but you could tell he had dire news to share and you were just beginning to brace yourself.
You looked into his eyes as he walked over and sat on the side of the bed.
"___, I've been putting this off for the past seven months now and you will go completely mad at me but it was for your own health...and for the twins."
Clenching his teeth together he continued...
"That day we spent with Keiran, when I was talking to the guard... well he shared some very important news with me that I was going to say but didn't have the heart to."
Your eyebrows furrowed at his guilty face. What could have happened for him to look and sound like this?
" Darling, a woman in the Gerudo tribe had a child. The child she birthed is a son." He stated coldly.
You blinked a few times.
This couldn't be!
You defeated Ganon not too long ago! He shouldn't be back!
Your head began to spin, the room changed colours. The red carpet and brown wooden flooring turned white, along with everything else.
And then you fainted.
Good job you were already in bed, right?
Just to catch you up if you don't know,
Ganon/Ganondorf/Crazy Pig man is basically part of the Gerudo tribe and is the man born every so hundred years to a Gerudo woman. He usually turns out to be Ganon like in OoT.
So henceforth, another reincarnation of Ganon may have been born along with the reincarnation of Zelda and your own child who bares your powers (you don't know which one as they're so young) Link is still yet to be born.
It had been over three hours since you passed out and Sidon was gently patting a cold and wet cloth on your boiling forehead.
"Mmm...Sidon?" You questioned as you held his clawed hand to your cheek.
"How long did I faint for?" You mumbled shaking your locks of hair from under your neck. They were stuck to it like glue (thanks to the beauty of sweat)
"Well after I told you the news, you passed out for three hours my love. How are you feeling now anyways?" He said helping you up and leant you on his arm.
"I'm just trying to process it all. What should we do about the kids?" You asked looking up at him in weakness and fear for your beloved children's lives.
"___...I don't know."
He stroked your hair, all he wanted was for you to be happy, for his kids to be safe and for his kingdom to rest happily in peace and rich crops.
"I think, we should wait. See what happens with this child. If worst comes to worst we need to train the children. We need to plan for the worst but not take drastic action my love." He stated, pulling you closer by the waist and kissing your forehead.
You nodded.
Out of your children there were two Zora's and one Hylian. Keiran being the Hylian would most probably mean he would gain your triforce binding powers but that's not to say Ralis or Ruto wouldn't get it either.
The sooner you found out, the sooner you could strengthen it.
It was clear that the young Zelda born a few months ago was the princess reincarnated.. she held the sign of the triforce on her hand. Unlike them, your brand came later in life, after your mother passed away.
"Sidon. We need to find out who holds my powers. Keiran, Ralis or Ruto... and I think that whichever child holds it should stay with me. The other two will go with you to Zora's Domain where it's far from Gerudo Town and Hyrule castle.
He looked at you and sighed. He knew it would come to this once he told you. The family would have to split for the time being, to keep the children safe and for the new 'chosen' heroes of the Goddess to learn their roles in peace and in serious conditions.
That would mean training by you, Zelda and Link.
"Do you agree..?" You whispered sadly.
He just nodded and kissed your head once more before letting a tear role down his cheek.
"It's okay, it'll always be okay." You said, but you knew it would happen..
