The drive, though short, held a lot of thoughts and theories. However, as a consequence, they also held fear and worries.
The three travellers traced the unfamiliar roads that lay before them. Each person staring at the unknown world that lay ahead of them. They wanted to turn back, to leave all this behind and enter their normal lives... But now they had to face the choices they had made.
And yet, these three wanderers of the vast void of knowledge still saw more than anyone on their journey could ever see.
With everything they had collected, they could come up with more than baseless conjecture, they can think of more than fact less theories, and they could discover more than metaphorical riddles. They had been enlightened with so much information, and had been given many details that could lead to reasons and causalities. However, they would have to be the ones to piece it together.
So, on this fearful and quiet journey, they began to put all the pieces on the table.
"Okay, so we have reason to believe that this is a group of people, Project included, who are each participating in murder, correct?" Questioner stated. Everyone nodded.
"We also know that these people look alike, and that Pessimist is the main murderer, right?"
Nod, nod.
"Then there's M, whom I believe is most likely the real Project, who seems to be able to know our outcomes of our decisions. Optimist is dead, most likely by Pessimist's hands. Pessimist has also killed Will, and assaulted us. Project or M is trying to lead us down a path, which they believe to be the best path for them and others, and yet doesn't stop Pessimist from killing even though it was apparently Project's idea, right?"
"Yeah, I think so." Writer responded.
"Are you guys even listening?" Questioner asked. Ridley and Writer looked up, "Of course, it's just that we've been travelling around the country at this point, and seem to be getting nowhere closer to bringing the Mystery to an end. I mean, do we even know where their hideout is?" Writer asked. Questioner was then the one to stay quiet. "Exactly, so even though we know all this, we still don't know their true identities, we don't know where they are, or how they're able to guess what we're about to do all the time! I'm fed up of being shoved around by these insane 'friends of Project's'. I'm fed up with the illusion of getting closer, only to find that I'm further back from the truth. I'm fed up with this entire impossible Mystery, and the lengths at which we're going to just receive small info about stupid things! Where's the set-up come in? Why did they begin The Incident now? Why were we dragged into this, especially if we were picked 'for a reason'?! Can we really help? Can we, +*!$= ?!" Writer yelled within the confined car.
The atmosphere was boiling at this rate, and no one wanted to say any more than what had already been said. Ridley, who had only tagged along to see Sam, was now wanting answers to things he had never questioned before. "Well, I mean we do know Optimist's identity: Willow." He finally mentioned.
"Oh yes, I remember now. You knew her, didn't you?" Questioner asked. Writer was all the more confused.
"Yes, we were friends a while back, but she had disappeared one day, only leaving us all with a message in a group chat, that has since then been deleted: 'It's my time, I must do this for them.'. I had no clue what she was on about, but I knew it couldn't be good. Afterwards I tried to contact her, even heading to where she lived, just to see if she was okay. Eventually, I found her, and all she said to me was, 'I'm busy helping the dead.' which I had no clue what she meant. She was never really literal with what she said, but the sincerity in her voice, the seriousness, it baffled me. Now I can see what she meant, and that she was dragged into something bigger than we all imagined at first."
