Ieva is lighting the dark tunnel with her flashlight. Nathan and Shauna follow close behind.
The tunnel takes them into a medium-sized cavern, there's moonlight peaking in from the surface and there are several other entrances to other tunnels.
SHAUNA
Which way now?
Ieva points her flashlight down one of the tunnels.
Nathan drifts by one of the darkened tunnels and absentmindedly turns his back to it. 2 hands drag him into the tunnel, silently.
Ieva shines her flashlight down another tunnel.
IEVA
We'll go this way.
Ieva looks back and sees Shauna alone.
IEVA (CONT'D)
Where's your friend?
Shauna looks around.
SHAUNA
Nathan.. NATHAN!
Nathan stumbles out of one of the dark tunnel, his throat is slashed and he's choking on his own blood.
SHAUNA (CONT'D)
Nathan! Oh my God!
Nathan falls to his knees in front of Shauna, she starts crying.
Hagen comes out of the darkness of the tunnel. His rifle is hung off his shoulder.
HAGEN
I knew you'd disappoint me, Ieva.
Ieva pulls her boot knife and stands between Hagen and Shauna.
HAGEN (CONT'D)
So you'd choose some girl, over your own father?
IEVA
We don't have to do this, please. We can just go.
HAGEN
Don't try it.
Hagen hurls his throwing knife at Shauna's face. Ieva deflects it last second with her knife.
IEVA
(To Shauna)
RUN!
Ieva and Shauna start sprinting down a nearby tunnel and disappear in the darkness.
