Julie's POV

Things are going well with me & Daniel. After another month is not bad right? so we're almost 2 months. It's 2 days before 14, & I can almost feel the Christmas spirit! Here I am readying myself in the bathroom, humming happily while brushing my teeth.

After morning duties, I can hear some buzzing , only to find out that I had 30+ messages on my phone, wait what's going on? Scrolling down in my inbox, I saw lots of messages like:

From: Bestie'Annabelibells Ü

Omggggg sistaah! Happy Birthday! Let us celebrate later! mwa mwa ! We have a surprise for you, see ya! :*

From: Ryan Beckham

Hey! Happy birthday, you're one year closer to your coffin! haha just kidding. More birthdays to come Jules. =))

From: Anna's Mother

Happy birthday dear! God bless you on your 17th year .

And other messages were from my teachers and classmates tellin the same thing. dang how could I forget my own birthday? But there was no greeting from Daniel & Kylie, that was... something. Nah! they're probably planning to surprise me and just pretending to forget my birthday.

I went to the kitchen , it was dark and when I turned the lights on...

"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIE!"

"Omygosh.. this is .. omg I love you guys! Thank you"

There I saw my parents, Anna & her family. On the table are different foods like cheese lumpia, 1 whole roasted chicken, Mojos & a chocolate mousse cake. There I realized that all of the food on the table are my favorite. Anna went near me & gave me a box wrapped in purple wrapper.

"Happy 17th birthday sis!" then she hugged me. I replied with a thanks and kiss on the cheek.

"Uhmm where's-" before I could finish my question she already walked away.

"Happy birthday dear" Mr. and Mrs. Reyes hugged me.

"Thanks auntie and uncle" I hugged back.

"Don't mention it" mrs. Reyes winked at me.

"Happy birthday Jules! you grow up so fast" my parents hugged and kissed me.

"Thanks mom and dad. You're the best"

After the greetings & eating, Anna asked permission to go to the mall with me, luckily, they agreed. So I dressed myself up and went to the mall with Anna. I checked my phone for any messages, there was one! my heart beats fast when I was about to open the text but it was only a greeting from sir Davis. I hid my phone and went on.

We went to Glorietta and met up with Ryan.

"Happy birthday Jules!" he approached & hugged me.

"Thanks Ry . let's go?" he nodded.

we decided to watch a movie, after watching, we bought coffees in starbucks and then we played in timezone. while watching Ryan and Anna play hockey ,the corner of my eye caught a familiar looking man.

"Hey Jules where you going?" Anna said.

"I'm just gonna check on something"

"We're coming with you" They left their game and walked fast. I was walking fast and I did not stop staring at the guy because I might lose him. I was just following him, I didn't know if Ryan and Anna were still following I just went on. We stopped at the terrace of Glorietta, where almost everyone smokes. He was with three girls, and it's insane because my mind clearly knows who they are. This is crazy! I can feel that my heart is skipping beats and it hurts now that I saw him kissing the girl and lighting up a cigarette.
