You're out at a bar for your first date with Josh. You both have been friends for years but he only just got the courage to ask you out. "So you've always had a small crush on me?" You ask, smiling and sipping on the wine glass in your hand. Josh laughs a little, "Yeah," he bites his lip.

The interviewer mentions love life and how it's going for Josh and Tyler. Tyler shrugs, a small smile upon his lips, "my love life's good, got a great women in my life. Josh is getting there, he's always talking about this wome-" he stops talking, hearing Josh gasp beside him. "Never mind" Tyler finishes, laughing uncontrollably.

While recording the Mutemath sessions, you watch the bands behind a glass window. You're smiling as Josh hits the drums with such force. You could tell he was trying to impress you. You had a feeling he liked you from the first day you met him. You liked him for a little bit until you found (y/Bf/n) (your boyfriends name) and you instantly fell in love. You did feel bad for Josh.
You're boyfriend walks into the room you're in and wraps his arms around your waist from behind. He turns you around and kisses you meaningfully. Just as Josh finishes playing his part, he looks up at you, his heart shattering into tiny little pieces.

"What is it?"
He hesitates.
His hands fidget with each other.
"I have to break up with you" his voice shakes.
Your heart drops.
"W-What? Why, what did I do?" You say, your voice trembling.
"No, no, you didn't do anything-""Then why are you breaking up with me?! Why would you do this? Am I just not good enough for you? Do you-" he cuts me off. He brings his hand up to his face and looks down,
"There's someone else"
You don't answer. You're trust in him had gone completely. "Y/n, I'm so sorry. I-" You stand up and walk out of the room, silently crying.
