Your POV

The day was cold and rainy. I walk solemnly into the schools main building. The building was filled with teenage girls laughing hysterically and teenage boys flirting with them. Geeks were in a group by their lockers, playing their little games on portable consoles. cheerleaders were in a group in the back corner of the long hall, making out with their boyfriends.
I gag as I see them.
The loners; the group that don't really have a group and are just the teens that are ignored, is the group I usually hang out with. I go between the loners and the geeks which makes me a 'floater'.

I wrap my sleeve covered arms around myself as chills make their way down my spine. It was really cold in the building.

Rosie and Ally, two of the cheerleaders who were in the back with their boyfriends, look up and see me walking down the hall. I ignore their gaze and walk straight to my locker. I unlock the combination lock and grab my books while also putting my bag inside my locker.

Turning around, I see Ally walk over to me, her brunette hair bouncing up and down. Rosie follows soon after.
"Hey, slag. Didn't see you at my house party the other night. Where were you? To busy trying to find a boyfriend? You must still be dreaming. Should be grateful I even invited you, slut." Ally says, her eyes darting at me as if she's staring at my soul.

I sigh and look down. My heart was beating fast. Too fast. I felt the need to throw up. I felt the need to cry. I didn't know what to do.
It's been happening since day 1; the very first day I moved to a new high school 2 months ago. I've been too scared to say anything to anyone. She, Rosie, their boyfriends and practically everyone in school had participated in bullying me. People in school I didn't really know usually found ways to bully me online whereas Ally and Rosie always picked on me physically.

"Was busy" I mutter, looking down the hall, seeing a guy walk down with his hands holding his bag straps tightly. He was obviously a new guy.

My eyes were stinging a little. "Speak up, dog" Rosie says rudely, laughing along with Ally shortly after. They always called me that, "dog". I hated it but I never let them know. I never let anyone know. I don't know why. I was just terrified of what they'd do if I told someone what they were doing to me.

They called me names, shoved me, spread rumours online and throughout the school for everyone to hear about. Nothing they said about me was true. It was all a lie. But I was Afraid to come forward.

"I was busy" I say A little louder. "Alright, don't need to yell at us" Ally says, turning her mood to slight anger. The new guy walks past us, glancing at me. "You got a boyfriend yet?" Ally asked, moving forward.I shrunk back against my locker. Ally and Rosie were gaining up on me, "What? To afraid to answer 'cause you don't have one?" Rosie asked intimidatingly, her brown eyes bulging out of her pale face. The guy who walked past heard what they were saying to me and frowned, turning back around and walking back to us. I shook my head slightly to the boy, indicating for him not to get involved but he just ignored me.

Rosie and Ally were close to me now, shoving me back against my locker while muttering faint 'huh?'s and 'aye?'s with smug smirks on their lips. I blink a few times as my combination lock jams into my back when they push me.
The guy walks over behind the girls. I look sadly at him, my eyes shutting as they push me one last time, making my head hit the locker hard. "Hey, hey!" The guys steps I between them and me. "What are you doing? Why are you hurting this lovely girl?" He asks calmly, trying to hide his anger. "Lovely?!" I heard Rosie scoff.

"She doesn't even have a boyfriend, how is she 'lovely'?" Ally says rudely. I was taken aback. This random guy had just stepped in to help me with a issue that has been haunting me since I got here. No one has ever done this for me.

The boy looks back at me, his brown eyes staring. He shows a faint smile then loses it again. He knew what Ally had just said was stupid and had nothing to do with why they were bullying me but I guess he wanted to play along. "She's got me." He says, turning back towards them. They both look confused. "I'm her boyfriend. Now leave her alone." He states intimidatingly. They frown and are surprised which I found slightly offensive.
"Wait, so you're her boyfriend?! How the-but what the actual fuck?" Ally mutters to herself. "Yeah that's right." He says.

I don't even know this guy and he just started a charade that he is my boyfriend. I didn't really know what to think besides how grateful I am to have someone stand up for me.

Ally and Rosie walk away, saying little 'sorry's as they strut back to their boyfriends who, might I add, are ugly as fuck and are complete dickheads and even they know that.

Once they're gone, the boy turns around to face me. I was still pressed up against the locker, my back jabbing into the lock. "Oh my gosh, are you okay?" He asks, grabbing my shoulders and pulling me away from the locker. I nod, looking down at my shoes. "Who are those girls?" He asks. "Their names are Ally and Rosie" I mumble. He puts his thumb under my chin and lifts upwards, making me look him in the eye. "Well, they're bitches" he states clearly. I chuckle slightly, still feeling his hands on my shoulders. "Yeah they are."

"So, you're new?" I ask kindly. He nods. "I'm Tyler" he smiles. "Y/n". We walk down the hall together to our first lesson. Turns out he's in my class.
"Great start to my new school, huh?" He laughs. He has a really cute laugh and it made me smile. "Wow, a smile looks good on you" he says, smiling widely.
