Unexpected love

Chapter 19

Bilal never imagined this thing could happen to him. How his friendship was breaking. How could he resolve all this? He was thinking all the possible ways to get her back, but everything seemed to fail! He couldn't sleep that night. He slept, and woke in sometime, he slept again, and woke up again! He was waiting when it'll be morning and when he could speak with Sarah!

6:00AM
"Good Morning Sarah!" Bilal texted her as soon as he got up! But she wasn't online.

He kept checking her last seen every hour. He was then roaming in the house. After sometime his mom got up,

"You woke up early today? What happened? You okay?" His mom asked!

"Yaa, I am good. I slept early last night, so I got up early today!" He said smiling. But he was lying. He didn't sleep last night and told that he got up early.

"Don't lie. You slept late last night. I know. Don't fool me, I am your mother, you can't hide it from me! Tell me what happened." His mom caught him.

"No mom. Seriously nothing happened. I don't know I woke up early today somehow! I wasn't feeling sleepy, and I was bored. So I was roaming. And I am hungry, please give me breakfast!" He said

"Okay fine. And yes give me half an hour. I'll prepare something." Replied his mom.

After having his breakfast, he spoke with his mom and dad. They both had to go out then, after sometime they went. So Bilal's sister went to school, his parents were out and now he was home alone. He went to hall and layed on his long couch. He checked his messages, she didn't see his messages yet. He thought of watching some videos on YouTube to change his mind. While watching he fell asleep. The video was still playing in the background, the phone's screen closed after sometime. He was tired, depressed and worried. He didn't had proper sleep since 2-3 days.

1:25PM

'Ding Dong... Ding Dong' The door bell was ringing. Bilal woke up to the bell.

"Who is it?" Bilal asked half asleep

"Your mom."

"Yes, hang on. Opening."

"As salamu alaikum!" His mom greeted entering.

"Wa Alaikum Salaam!" He replied.

"What were you doing?"

"I slept...again!" He replied smiling.

"Ahan!" She replied. And then she got busy with her works.

He then took his phone to check his messages, Sarah kept her message on seen, but didn't reply! His heart was feeling heavy! He then messaged her again,

"Sarah, please reply to my texts. If you have any misunderstandings, we can clear it right! Please don't keep any misunderstandings with you! I request you please!"

She was online, but didn't see his text. So he messaged her continuously so that she sees his texts. Time really does wonders, at one time she used to see his texts in a second and replied them immediately and now he has to message her continuously only because she sees his texts! Incredible!

After few texts, she saw his texts and replied,

"What's your problem man? Why are you irritating me?" She replied in a very rude way! She told him as if she never knew a person named Bilal, as if she never met him, as if he never existed! There was a time when she felt happy to speak with him, and now it seems he is irritating him!

Now she pissed him off real bad! He had enough of this behavior.

"What do you mean by I am irritating? All I am asking is what happened to you? Why are you behaving different all of a sudden?"

"Hmm..." She replied.

"And what's with this hmm and all? Can't you reply to me normally? Can't you reply to me like you used to before?"

"When???"

He was really shocked at this behavior of hers.

"Before our exams!" Bilal replied.

"Did I?" She replied.

"Oh my god! What's making you so mean? What has happened to you? Why are you acting so much? Have you forgotten everything?"

"What?"

"How can you forget all those memories? How can you forget all those promises you made? How can you be so heartless that you forgot even I have a heart which cared for you no matter what, which supported you always when no one was there with you, even when you lost hope in yourself, I was always there for you just like a shadow! How can you be so emotionless? What wrong did I even do that you are showing me such kind of attitude." Bilal wrote such long message, to which Sarah had no answer!

"I don't know Bilal!" That's all she replied.

"Were you even sweet Sarah? Or did you just acted of being sweet! Fooling me, playing with my emotions, playing with my trust, playing with my loyalty, playing with my honesty, playing with my heart! Why did you think that I was a playing material! Why couldn't you be serious? What did I even ask for? I always listened to you! Never hurted you, never thought bad about you, always there for you, be it day or night! Always protected you, never told bad about you, was this my mistake?

He didn't wanted to lose her. How much did he wait, how much did he plan, since from his exams. What did he get?

Sarah read all these texts, she didn't even bother to reply. Bilal too had nothing to say now. And the next thing he knew was that he got blocked.

He really became numb now. He became weak, he was crying badly on the inside. Someone who was a major part of his life, now just vanished away from his life for NO REASON! He never thought this would happen. How many things he did just to see her beautiful smile, all she gave him was depression and heartbreaks. He was sweet, polite, good, caring, and she was rude, who betrayed, stabbed him. She broke his heart in such a way that it would take forever to heal.

He started developing hate towards her, and how could he love her now? She broke her in such a way, it was not possible now! He also blocked her soon and never wanted to see her face again. But life is not easy, he tried to ignore her, but somehow she would pop, sometimes in feed, sometimes in some random guys story, sometimes in 'people you may know.' It taught him many lessons. He can never forget her, be it in a good sense or bad!
