𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 in the woods for at least a breem, and Eclipse was completely enthralled the entire time.

Crystals adorned the metal trees. The constant darkness of the sky allowed them to glow an array of different colors endlessly.

The colors were a feast for her optics, the mixture of colors passing by blurring together like city lights, only it was a thousand-times better.

He didn't bother sparing a second glance at the crystal as they passed. He did, however, tilt his helm at the sight of Eclipse, sending her curious glances from time to time.

The yellow mech finally worked up the courage to just ask her about her strange behavior, "What are you doing? You're acting like you've never seen a crystal tree before."

Eclipse continued to awe at the trees, "That's because I haven't, not since the one time when I was very young anyway."

He faltered, not expecting that answer to come from her intake. "Wait, what?"

The memorized femme ignored the question and reached up to touch one of the lower hanger crystals hanging from a branch as they passed under. The tip of her digit gave it a little push, and the little spin it did prompt her to flash a tiny smile.

This was the first time she had ever seen them up close, at least that she remembered.

Eclipse was rarely allowed outside, and when she was, it was because she had snuck out. Even then, she was only ever allowed to stay for ten kliks at most before being escorted back. Because of this, she never left the boundaries of the city so forests and crystal trees were among the few things she hasn't seen beyond pixelated holograms.

Despite his confusion, he decided not to pry. Instead, he stopped and said, "Let's stop here for the dark-cycle. The next cycle we will head into town."

Eclipse nodded, venting in relief internally. As the dark-cycle wore on, her legs were beginning to feel numb.

With a deep vent, she sat down in front of one of the trees and rested her back on the metal flaps.

As her optics offlined to take it in, her helm fell backward for a moment only to flickered on partially and roam the surrounding area before settling on the mech oblivious to her gaze.

"You know," The femme began with a nonchalant tone, watching his blue optics flicker up to her own, "I never caught your designation."

"B-127." He answered, instant confusion filling her processor.
