𝐄𝐗𝐇𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐎𝐏 of the list of what the femme was feeling. They had followed the star as far as they could before having to scale up a mountain—now everyone had to walk.
"It's got to be around here somewhere..." Simmons sighed, just as exhausted as the rest of them. Everyone was heaving, surely wavering from their now lack of energy. It didn't help that the sun was scorching down from its peak height in the sky.
Eclipse nearly jumped for joy when her optics catch sight of a ginormous building embedded on a small ledge of the mountain. It blended in with all the tan and brown rocks around it, but the beautiful architecture made it fairly noticeable.
Everyone trailed toward the doorway in astonishment, the size fit for even someone taller than Optimus.
"Do you see the size of this? You see this?" Simmons gawked.
"It's been a while since I've seen something our size." Sideswipe muttered as he passed under the archway.
The femme followed in after the humans and Sideswipe, Bumblebee staying behind for a moment to scout the small area.
The inside couldn't compare to the outside given it was nothing but sand for flooring, a few pillars holding the place stable, and a large, dusty painting on the wall. There were no jewels or ancient sculptures, not to mention the absence of offlined Primes and the Matrix.
"It's got to be here somewhere." Sam was already beginning the search eagerly. He too didn't want to believe they came all this way for nothing.
Leo was first to roll his eyes, "Yeah, why? 'Cause we're trusting Grandpa Blackbird who doesn't even know what planet he's on?"
"In his defense, that is the biggest doorway I've ever seen in my entire life." Simmons defended Jetfire, still looking up at the roof in awe.
"Okay. Well, that's great. Let me do a quick search, alright?" Eclipse watched Leo turn in a pitiful circle before throwing his arms up, "Uh... nope. Ever cross your mind, guys, that archeologists have been here before? There is nothing here."
It was then that she heard shuffling behind her, causing her to turn her helm to see Bumblebee come sauntering through the doorway. His faceplate was washed over in confusion like theirs had been.
He looked at her with a questioning look, merely getting a shrug in response. His guess was as good as hers.
Eclipse watched Sam go over to the ledge with the painting, sitting down to think with his head in his hands.
