"𝐇𝐎𝐖'𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒? Is everything as perfect as you want it to be?" Eclipse teased playfully as she entered the big, practically empty room carrying a cube of energon.
A file on the table was very quickly shut.
She walked toward her guardian who stood over a very long table, one of the only pieces of furniture in the entire space. She watched as Tesla's digits delicately glided across the empty space above it where holographic panels hovered for her to scroll through and edit the glyph scribbles as she pleased.
Tesla rolled her optics, glancing up briefly with a short smile, "Oh, haha. Very funny, but yes, just doing final touches."
There was a comfortable silence that overtook the room, leaving only the sound of her digits tapping the screen and the small whoosh every time she moved a panel out of her way to a new spot on the table.
"So... status update?"
Anyone who had been asked that at random would have no clue what she was talking about. Eclipse, however, had been asked so many times that she didn't even need an elaboration.
"Not much..." She lied. This was the first time she actually did have a change in the status of her abilities, but then she'd have to explain the entire building toppling on top of her and the mental breakdown with it. In a few eons, maybe, she'd look back and laugh. Right now? It wasn't ideal to bring up, especially to Tesla.
The guardian in question arched an optic-ridge at the femmeling suspiciously, "You're sure?"
"Yep." Another lie.
"You know you look anywhere but me when you lie?" The older femme suddenly revealed.
"I-" Eclipse fumbled for glyphs, "I do not."
She gave her a pointed look at which the young royal slouched at, mumbling to herself, "You're just scary..."
"Hmm?" Tesla challenged her to keep talking.
"Nothing, Nothing. I did bring this for you though?" Eclipse offered her the cube of energon with a sheepish smile. She actually had brought it for her, but totally forgot it was even in her servo with the interrogation. What better time than now to give it to her and earn both forgiveness and subject change?
She smirked slightly, but took the cube anyway, taking a sip before setting it down on the surface of the table. It had caused some of the holograms to automatically shift up and out of the way, earning an irritated huff as Tesla tried to organize her work again.
"Okay, well," She returned to flipping through some documents pulled up in front of her, narrowing her optics in concentration, "Tell me about what happened."
