"𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐔𝐒, 𝐌𝐘 𝐏𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐓. Do yours?" Eclipse complained, trailing behind Bumblebee through the lively streets of the town.
It wasn't much bigger than the one they previously left and it wasn't quite a city, but it was rambunctious all the same.
It was almost as heavily guarded as one, but once through that obstacle, they were heading straight for the Autobot base with no rest-stops.
"Yeah, but we're nearly there. Just keep your hood up, okay? The last thing we need is to draw a bunch of attention to you again." Bumblebee stated as he swiftly maneuvered around the numerous frames passing by.
With a little struggle to keep caught up with his quick pace, the femme was suddenly tugged sharply to the right.
"We're here."
They walked down a long pathway in-between two buildings. She didn't know how she failed to notice it beforehand, it was so obviously there yet it was so easy to passt by. As if it was strategically set there to be easily looked over.
Her optics trailed up as they grew closer to the massive gate at the end of the path, two bots—clearly Autobots judging by the insignias—standing guard in front of it. It was unnecessarily massive. The steel shut the world out, leaving nothing but a long line of wall on either side to block those from the inside.
Eclipse cocked an optic-ridge when she noticed the guards nod, her gaze shifting to Bumblebee.
To her surprise, he nodded back. They recognized each other?
Her confusion and rather uncomfortableness of the lack of glyphs exchanged between the two ran further when one of the mechs lifted his digit to the side of his helm, giving them clearance.
The gates slowly opened, as if maze walls were peeling apart from one another after being discovered a thousand vorns later.
Bumblebee was a little more known than she had originally realized; yet, somehow, she still had no idea he existed until these last few cycles.
The femme was drawn from her astonished thoughts when she felt someone gently clutch her forearm, finding the scout as the culprit—no surprise there.
He led her through the gates, his grip only lasting nano-kliks before she nudged him off. He merely glanced at Eclipse, though he should've expected her 'I can do it myself' attitude wouldn't waver even in a place he took very seriously.
Unlike Bumblebee staring straight ahead, Eclipse craned her neck around to look all around the white room they had entered. It wasn't quite what she was expecting to find passed the rustic-looking exterior. It was packed with loads of advanced technology, most of which she could find within the base conjoined with the Capitol. The numerous Autobots on duty inside weren't different here either.
