Nova was seated in Bumblebee's lap, Eclipse right beside them inside the church where they met to recon with the rest of the team, also serving as a rendezvous point.
Inside Elita and Ratchet were lying down, trying to replenish their energy as well as being somewhat treated by Ratchet's vocal assistance and the servos of Drift and Arcee.
When they arrived back with the crying sparkling, the urgency in the room increased to a trifold. Just what they needed, three injured bots in their servos.
Nova had been fully up for fixing her arm less than a few minutes ago; however, the pain of it caught her by surprise and she instantly let the dam of tears fall when Drift was the brave bot who dared to be the one to pop it back into place.
Even with Ratchet's assurance that he did it all right and that she was just more stunned than actually in pain, the mech took a few steps back and apologized profusely to the sobbing bitlet.
After that, she did not trust them. She refused to let them do anything else no matter how much they claimed it was to help her and the pain ar arm was surely in.
Ratchet already had a container of a liquid they had been using on the older two by just extracting the substance with needles. It was a relaxant injection to numb the area so she wasn't in so much pain while healing. The plan was to use it on the main circuit that connected her arm to her main frame, but one look at that large needle and she wanted to be anywhere but there.
Fixing was her specialty, not getting fixed.
She was not having it, even with Bumblebee holding her down and Eclipse trying to keep her calm.
Bumblebee wrapped both his arms around her own so they pressed to her sides, trying to keep her in place, but the sparkling was squirming like no other, kicking and yelling at them.
"We have to, Novie... It won't be as bad."
"No!"
"It'll be okay. It's nothing like before, I promise." Eclipse tried to soothe her, but everything was failing.
"No! No!" She kicked harder, landing one just right on Bumblebee's leg causing him to visibly wince. Who knew she packed quite the kick?
"Hate to interrupt but..." Jazz nervously peeked his helm into their view, trying to be careful with his wording, "We don't have a lot of time." He regretted it the moment it came out of his intake.
