the second part ;) enjoy ;£ :

Clary sat on the training room floor watching Jake handle wooden swords. She didn't know why Jace had insisted on Jake learning to use weapons when he was so young but she guessed he knew what he was doing so she let him. Jake was in the middle of the room with emily and robyn. Another student learning how to use weapons. She was also the same age as Jake. A couple of months younger and she was obviously going to be very pretty. With beach blonde hair a shade lighter than Jake's golden hair but she had amazingly blue eyes. Not dark blue but light, like a cloudless sky. She had high cheek bones and full round lips. Clary didn't know why but Jia penhallow had adopted robyn three years ago after her parents died from upstanding injuries from the dark war. Jia hadn't wanted robyn to live with her however and so she had come to live here at the institute. And she was now it's only member apart from Maryse that lived there anymore. Jake had often gone and slept round there with robyn for sleepovers but whenever he did, Clary and Jace had also spent the night in their old room. Incase he needed them. Clary looked up as emily approached her. She was their trainer that had been sent in after the dark war. And had also trained Clary to an extant. "How are you?" Emily asked. Emily was also quite pretty but unlike robyn she had chestnut brown hair that hung in curls around her full face and grey eyes that seemed as grey as a sky during a storm. "I'm fine" Clary said as she moved on the mat to make room for Emily. "Oh no sorry i can't sit" she said almost sadly. "Your boy has me running all over, oh!" She added almost as an after thought. "And Simons here to see you" as soon as she said it she must of seen Clary's face change and her lips tighten. "Sorry" she said looking at her feet. "Should i of not let him in?" She asked shyly. "No!" Clary said hastily as she struggled to get to her feet. "It's fine" she said with a sigh. "I needed to talk to him some time" and with a hopeful but small smile she left the room and the noise of wood grinding together behind.

"Look" simon said as soon as Clary closed the training room door shut behind her. "Before you say a word just hear me out" simon said defensively. "I didn't mean for you to fall over it's just... I mean" he said nervously whilst rubbing his neck. " it's fine" Clary said with a small smile but simon was shaking his head. "No it's not" he said and sighed. "Non of what i said was alright. Trust me i feel terrible but you must understand i only did it because i thought it would help" but as Clary opened her mouth simon shushed her. "No let me finish" he said and sighed. " about a week ago i was contacted by the queen of the seelie court. She said that either i arrange you to go meet with her or she would hurt somone we cared about. I mean i thought she was joking at first you know trying to scare me but.. Well yesterday just sort of woke me up. I know i blamed you and i don't know i guess that was just so that you wouldn't have to go but you deserve to know, Robert was killed because of me. I don't know how i am going to tell izzy but i just needed you to know" after he said it Clary was quiet for a long time. The queen had contacted simon about her. What was so important about her to the queen that she needed to kill someone to get her point across. "Clary say something" he said in a desperate tone. "We can't tell Jace" she said and then looked up at him. "Where is Jace?" She asked quizzically and he smiled weekly at her. "I left the funeral. I just left izzy there, i am going to have to use our daughter as an excuse an say that the baby sitter couldn't cope but i think she will know, i just can't tell her. And Jace" he said with a small sarcastic laugh. "He's never going to trust me around you again" he said with a shrug. "But i knew that" and as soon as he said it Clary's heart went out to him. "It wasn't your fault" she said catching at his hand and gripping it tightly in hers. "I was the one who slipped" she said reassuringly but he didn't seem as though he had heard her. "Of course it was my fault" he said and pulled his hand back. "Wait" he said as he looked up at her. His eyebrows furrowing. "Why can't we tell Jace?" He said and Clary sighed. "Simon, if she hurt one of our own she means business. She isn't going to stop until we go and meet with her and i don't want Jace to know because you know how protective he is" she said and slowly she slipped down the wall until she was sat on the cold floor. "Clary" simon said soothingly as he slid into a crouch next to her and put his hand on her knee. "I won't let you go alone but if you don't want Jace to know, then i wont tell him" he said with a small smile. "But i'm going with you" and with this she turned her head and smiled at him "i wouldn't of expected anything else" she said as she grabbed his hand in hers and kissed the back of his hand. "I missed you si" she said and they both sat like that until emily came to get her.
