Half a heart - One Direction

-Hyungwon-

I take all my papers as I leave the office, on my way down I see maids working hard.

I got more maids after she left..
I need as much distraction as possible so I can forget her.

I head to my room when I put the documents away in the library.

I open my walk-in closet and take the first sweater I see together with a denim jeans.

I get out of my suit and put on the basic clothes I took.

With this outfit I get to my car where Wonho and Shownu are already waiting.

"Shall we go?" I ask them and they step in my Tesla.

"Where will we be going tonight?" Wonho asks and I look up from my phone.

"The underground strip club" I respond to his question.

"Alright, well... I don't want to ruin your plans but the last time we went there you were wasted as fuck, I don't know if that is a good idea" Wonho says.

"Shut up Wonho, Hyungwon is smart enough to not get wasted again" Shownu says.

A silence forms until Wonho speaks up again.

"Yeah, probably" He says.

A couple hours later I am totally drunk and have no idea what I'm doing.

A couple half naked girls are standing not far from me, I've lost Shownu and Wonho already so I take my chance and dance with them. very intimate.

- Wonho -

"He is really fucked up.." I say with a beer in my hand while standing on the side with Shownu.

"I really think it's because of her" He says and I shake my head.

"It is possible but I don't think so, I mean he is Chae Hyungwon, he was like this before her" I say.

"Yeah he was like this but not as bad as now" Shownu says and he has a good point.

"I wonder how she is doing without him.." I say and Shownu sighs.

"Yeah.. how old is she now? 25?" Shownu asks and I nod.

"Maybe 24, I don't know" I shrug.

We both take a look on the dance floor again and lost Hyungwon.

"Shit" Shownu says and we both start to search.

- Hyungwon -

I make my way to the bathroom, after a long trip with a lot of falling, I finally found it.

I lock myself up and take my phone.

Typing in the only phone number I know..

"Please pick up" I say to myself.

Hi it's Faith, I can't pick up the phone right now.. well leave whatever you want to say and I might listen to it and even call you back if I'm in a good mood.

Peep

"Faith.. hello.. I umm hope you are doing well. I hope you've found love and sometimes still think of me, I miss you everyday, please come back" I say, well at least that's what I thought I was saying.

I hang up and get out of the bathroom only to see Wonho and Shownu standing there, both not reslly looking happy.

"Hey boys, come on have some fun! We're at a strip club.. enough funnfor everyone!" I say and make my way theough them.

"Hyungwon let's go home" Shownu says grabbing my arm and before I can keep up with my self I punch him in his face.

I start laughing quietly before returning to the girls I was busy dancing with earlier.
I need distraction.

- Faith -

"Shouldn't you pick that up?" Minho asks and I nod but I don't do it.

"It's him again" I say annoyed.

"Oh, well.. you don't deserve him" He says.

"Yeah thanks for the pep talk" I say sarcastically.

"Sorry I just don't know what to say, you've been depressed for a year now.." Minho says.

"What do you care?" I ask.

"I don't want my roommate and best friend to be sad"

"I think I'm gonna get to sleep, it's late and I'm tired" I say and leave to my room.

I hear Minho sigh before I close my door.

Yes I miss Hyungwon...
It would've been weird if I wouldn't miss him.

He's been calling me sometimes at night, mostly in the weekends though.

But I never pick up, because I know when I hear his voice again I want to just run back to him.

Also, tried taking care of my daughter but it hurried me too much to see how she looked so much like Hyungwon, I am an awful mother..

Hyelin offered to take care of Soojin until I am ready, which I guess is never, but I'm really thankful.

They still live in Paris and I life in Seoul with Minho, that is right, I finally moved to Seoul.

The next morning I get in my work clothes and leave for my job as a barista at a coffee house.

"Goodmorning" I smile at my co-workers as we all start to do our job.

"Hello what can I get you?" I smile at a young woman and she orders a coffee.

I tell her to pick it up at the end of the bar and go to the next customer.

That's how it goes every day.

It gets boring during the day until my favourite customer arrives.

"Faith!" his adorable voice yells through the whole shop.

"Minhyuk! just the usual?" I ask him and he nods.

"How is he doing?" I ask him and he bites his lip.

"Yeah.. good? I really don't know, I see him probably twice a month now, sorry for being the worst friend ever" Minhyuk says and I laugh.

"oh well, what do I even care.. he is probably doing just fine without me" I say and smile weakly.

"I'm sorry" Minhyuk says and I shake my head.

"Don't worry I'm fine" I say.

"You know what, I have an idea.. I will be back in a couple minutes, do not leave" Minhyuk says rushing out of the shop.

"It's not like I can leave my job" I whisper to myself and laugh a bit before going to the next customer.

A couple minutes later Minhyuk comes back with a bag.

"Look what I've got" He says and takes out a pink wig with bangs.

I look at him confused.

"There are clothes in it and sunglasses and.. a bunch of make up.. we are going to transform you into a whole new person and your name will be Violet" Minhyuk says.

"I talked with your boss just now and you can leave, come on.. you can see Hyungwon again tonight without him knowing it's you"
