Aiden's POV
We got home after a few hours drive and both of us decided to not speak. I don't know why, but she's acting like she wants to say something. I decided to speak.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked.

She flinched a bit, probably interrupted her thoughts. My bad.

"U-um yeah, I'm fine. Totally fine." She said. But I could sense her lying.

"Then why do I feel like you're lying?" I asked.

"Ehm..." She mumbled.

I waited for her to speak again.

"Okay fine, I'm thinking of my mom. What's wrong with the house? I asked her so many times but she just won't bother to tell me what's happening!" She said.

"She's just trying to protect you Hailey.

It's better if you didn't know. " I said. "From what?!" She said angrily.

"Like I said, it's better if you didn't know." I said.

"How could you say that?! Do you know what's up?!" She said. Practically yelling at Me.

"Because, I have been through the same situation. Trust Me, you wouldn't wanna know what's up. "I said calmly. "Fine." She said.

She's starting to ignore me again. I sigh.

I hope she's not mad about it.

Who am I kidding? Who would want to be in a situation like this? That right. No one.

Ugh stop talking to yourself Aiden. I walked inside of my room and setup a videogame to take my mind out of things. After hours of playing, Hailey came inside my room.

"Sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to shout at you." She said sniffling.

I glanced at her. She looks like she's about to tear up. I smiled slightly at her. "It's fine. I know how it feels." I said. Memories started to flood my mind again, and my smile soon faded away. But I still held my tears.

I can't let her see me cry, not now. She sits next to me and watch me play the videogame. Until I felt a light weight against me.

She fell asleep while I played. How adorable. I continued playing when I realized.

I CALLED HER ADORABLE AGAIN?!

I just ignored my thoughts and continued to play anyways. I didn't care anymore.

I felt myself starting to drift off as well. And fell asleep.

Hours Later...

I could feel something heavy on top of me so I slowly opened my eyes. When I saw what it was, I shot my eyes open. "Hailey..!" I hissed. "Huh?" She said eyes still closed. She slowly opened her eyes and when she saw our position, She blushed so dark.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" She said, trying to get off of me.

"Do you always do this?" I asked.

"Y-yes." She said still blushing.

"I'll have to get used to it if you're going to live here for who knows how long." I said.

"I'm so sorry. You were just so comfortable." She mumbled quietly, but I could hear her.

"What was that?" I said grinning, trying to tease her.

"N-nothing!" She said. I just giggled and got up.

"We're lucky it's a Saturday. I haven't slept like that in ages." I said, checking the time.

"Heh, so did I." She said. I noticed she's still blushing.

"Do you have a fever? You red as a tomato!" I said teasingly. She blushed darker, and I giggled a bit. "N-no! I'm fine." She said.

"Do you have plans for today? I'm getting bored." I asked. "Actually no. I don't. " She said. "How 'bout we go outside or something?" I asked. "Sure. Lemme just fix myself." She said and started to walk in a room where her stuff were at.

I decided to change as well.
