Aiden's POV
It's getting late and everyone started to live, except for Hailey's mom.
Her mother requested that they have a little Mother-Daughter talk so they went to my room while I cleaned up the mess the others made.
I wonder what they're talking about.
Hailey's POV (yay first time lol)
My mom led me to Aiden's room for a 'Mother-Daughter talk'.
"So, what do you want to talk about mom?" I asked.
"You can come home again." She said.
"Really?!" I said.
"Yes, you can live at our house again." She said smiling.
"But, can I ask what's the problem at our house?" I said.
"Hmm, since it's already done. Yes." She said.
She started explaining everything and I was so glad that Aiden didn't tell me when I asked him. "What happened to father?" I asked.
"He..." A long pause. "He passed away..." She said. "Oh..." I said, teary eyed. My mother hugged me and comforted me. "It's alright." She cooed.
I sniffed then heard the door open.
I saw Aiden with an apologic face and slowly closed the door. Then mom called after her.
Aiden's POV
I was finished cleaning up and I am wondering why they're taking so long. So I decided to check on them.
I opened the door without knocking and saw them crying. I mentally face palmed and gave them an apologic face before slowly closing the door. "Aiden!" I heard Hailey's mom said. Shit.
I opened the door to reveal my face. "Y-yes?" I said. "Can I talk to you?" She said. "Eh, sure?" I said.
She immediately stood up and walked outside then shut the door.
"Thank you for taking care of my little princess." She said.
"Oh uh, no problem Ms. Allison." I said. She started glaring at me.
Shit. What did I say? "Em, Mom?" I said nervously. "Better." She said.
I sighed. Phew. "Can you give us more time? We're not finished talking yet." She said.
"Oh uh, sure..." Long pause.
"Mom." I said. She smiled and walked inside my room, but soon came out again.
"Do knock next time?" She said.
"Heh, sure." I said. She came inside again closing the door. Man she's hard to talk to.
Hailey's POV
I wonder what they're talking about. Mom soon came in but came out again.
Weird.
Then she said something then came in and shut the door.
"Now, about you coming home." She said.
"Em, can I stay here a bit longer?" I said.
"Sure, as long as prince charming outside doesn't disturb you, okay." She said.
"Prince charm-?" I said confused, but understood what she meant.
"We're just friends mom!" I blurted.
"So until when are you staying here?" She said, changing the subject.
But she's still smirking from my reaction.
"Until freshman ends?" I said. "Sure." She said, still smirking.
"Well, I gotta go home. It's pretty late and the trip home isn't that short." She said. I hugged her.
"Okay. Stay safe?" I said, letting her go. "Yes dear, I will." She said, then kissed me on the forehead.
"Bye mom." I said.
"Bye." She said, walking out of the room.
I laid down the bed and fell asleep.
Aiden's POV
I'm still waiting at the living room when I heard a door open.
"I'm leaving now." I heard Hailey's mom said.
"Oh um, let me open the door for you." I said. I opened the door for her. "Thank you, dear. Do continue taking care of my princess?" She said. "Of course." I said, smiling.
She chuckled and left. I locked the door and went upstairs, only to be greeted by a sleeping Hailey.
I laid down the bed next to her and fell asleep.
