Aiden's POV
"AHH." I screamed.
"NOOOO, DON'T!" I yelled.
Hailey is chasing me around pointing a paint brush with pink paint on it and she's having a fun time doing it.
"C'mon Aid! You'll look cute in pink!" She said, still chasing me.
"I don't care!" I yelled, running away from her.
I ran upstairs and went to the bedroom, hiding behind the bed.
"Aid~, I know you're here~" She said teasingly.
Lucky for me, I found a water gun under the bed.
"Hah! Feel my wrath!" I said as I squirt water on her shirt.
"Hey! No fair!" She said, throwing the paint brush at me.
But before I could respond, It landed right on my hair.
"NUUUUU!" I said as I ran to the bathroom.
"Heh, You look random." I heard Hailey talk outside the bathroom.
I just grunted and washed my hair.
Fortunately, It wasn't permanent.
Hailey changed her clothes and went to talk to me.
"Where'd you get the watergun?" She said.
"I always have one everywhere." I said. "Really? Why?" She asked.
"So I'll be able to defend myself in times like this." I said, heading to the now decorated Christmas tree.
"Shall we call the oth-" Hailey said, but got interrupted by the door bell.
"I'll get it." I said, walking to the door. I opened the door and found our friends waiting outside.
"Hey, Aid!" Arianne said.
"Mind if we sleepover?" Ryan said. "Please?" Kimmy said.
"Oh! Right on time. We were about to call you guys." I said, moving over letting them in.
"We?" John said.
"Yeah, Hailey is here too." I said.
"Isn't it too early for her to be here?" Samantha said.
"Oh, Hailey has been living with me for a couple of months now." I said, leading them to the living room.
"So you two are dating?" Ralph said. "What? No, we're just friends." I said. "Pfft. Yeah, right." Arianne said.
Before I could reply, Hailey came to us pointing her finger above Ralph and Samantha.
"Look who fell for our trap." She said, giggling.
I knew what she was talking about so I laughed with her.
"What are you two laughi-" Ralph said, staring above them.
There was a mistletoe above them. Just as planned.
Me and Hailey low-fived behind our backs and snickered.
"Hey, you know the rules." I said. "Hah! Nice one you two." Arianne said.
We all cheered the word "kiss" except for Ralph and Samantha.
They were blushing so hard.
But Samantha decided to end the moment and pecked Ralph as fast as she could then looked away.
The two were silent. So I decided to break the silence.
"Welp, now that's that over... Let's go party!" As I said that they all cheered and ran everywhere.
We had a lot of fun while waiting till 12 AM to celebrate Christmas.
All of them fell for our mistletoe traps and they all kissed. Except for me and Hailey.
That's until, we fell for their trap.
They actually brought a mistletoe rod and hovered it above me and Hailey.
I stared at Hailey while she stared back. We were blushing so hard, until I broke the tension.
I kissed her for 3 secs and she kissed back. It felt so good, but I decided to break the kiss. Whyyy???
The others all said "Oohh" and I was blushing furiously. So I hid my face from Hailey.
We all continued to party until it stroked 12 am.
