I got ready for school and wore a hoodie to hide my arms.

Though I should accept the fact that the metal appearance is quite exposed.

I just hope no one would notice.

I hopped inside my car and ignited the engine.

Good thing I could still drive.

I drove to school...

A few minutes later, I arrived.

I parked the car and walked casually inside.

A lot of students were looking at my metal hands.

Some looked amazed, some looked confused, and some looked disgusted.

I didn't care anymore.

My only goal is to recover my grades before the 2nd quarter.

And not talk to anyone if not important.

I walked inside the classroom and sat on a desk.

I made sure no one sat beside me.

It was still early so I played some tunes with my beats.

Until Jack's gang came.

"Hey Aid! Haven't seen you in a couple of days. What happened?" He said.

I don't want to be rude to these guys.

They'll bully me till this year ends.

"Oh, heh. Nothing special." I said.

He raised a brow.

"Then what's that thing your wearing?" He said.

I felt nervous.

"Oh, these? They're just prototypes." I said. Then shrugged after.

"You got caught in an accident didn't you?" He said.

"Yeah, I did." I said, in defeat.

"So.... Those are prosthetic arms?" He said.

"Yeah. Weird huh?" I said.

"Actually. They're pretty cool!" He said.

"Really?" I said.

"Yeah! Can I check em out?" He said.

I looked at my covered arm for a while and nodded.

"Okay." I said.

I removed my sleeves and let Jack touch em.

"Cool." He said as he waves his hand through my fingers.

"Thanks." I said, smiling.

"Sorry about the accident though. I know it hurts the first time." He said.

"It's fine. I got used to it." I said.

"Heh. Come on! There's still a lot of time to roam around a bit." He said, walking off.

"Hm.. Mkay." I said, walking by his side.

Maybe this won't be so bad after all.
