The Meet Up - VII.

"You did what!?" Kelly said aloud after I told her and Nicki the news about Hov and I. Of course Nicki was her calm, collective self while Kelly was being dramatic as usual.

"I said – "

"I think she knows exactly what you said," Nicki said with a slight chuckle, "She's just trying to register it in her head."

I simply nodded and sat down at the desk located in the corner of my room. Telling them the news that Hov and I had sex was the easy part, but it was more to it. I was feeling very bad about myself right now because I had given him something that suppose to be very special to me, way too easily.

I bit down on my bottom lip as I looked at the recent messages between us. I had texted him three times since this morning and I have yet to hear from him.

"Do you know how dumb that was Bey?" Kelly said, "I hope you used a condom because there's no telling what kind of disease he have."

I rolled my eyes, "He used a condom Kelly.."

"Like, what were you thinking?"

I shrugged, "I don't know, but right now I need you to be a friend and not my mother."

Nicki snickered, but I was as serious as serious could get. I hated how Kelly always came at me in a motherly way. If I wanted advice from my mom, I would've asked her. I needed her to be a friend right now.

"You know what," She said shaking her head, "I'm just going to shut up and let you do you. I'm trying to be a friend and let you know that he's no good for you. I bet you haven't even talked to him since then."

The room got quiet as they just stared at me. I nervously put my hair behind my ear and looked down at my phone that was laying in between my legs.

"Wow, you haven't heard from him?" Nicki questioned.

Kelly shook her head, "Told you."

"He's probably busy," I said with a shrug, "There's no telling with him."

"Girl, trust me! If a guy is feeling you, he's going to make time for you," Kelly said, "I just can't believe you're that naive. Mama Tina taught you so much better than that Bey."

I smacked my lips and sat up from the desk. I no longer wanted to hear what they had to say. Honestly, I could've been smarter about this but it's not like it's the end of the world. I'm pretty sure I will talk or run into him again soon anyway.

Soon as I sat up, my phone vibrated in my hands. I happily looked at it knowing that it could only be Hov, but that smile went away fast when I saw the name Chris.

Received: Want to study today?

"Beyoncé you're a grown woman," Nicki said, "And I'm not going to tell you what to do because at the end of the day, you're going to do what you want anyway. Just be wiser when it comes to him. He looks like the type to play mind games."

Sent: Sure! Time?

Received: Now, lol. I'm in the library as we speak. & I have runs to make later on tonight so I just wanna get it out of the way.

Sent: On my way.

I grabbed my backpack and slid my cell phone in my back pants pocket, "Thank you guys for the advice. I appreciate it, but I have to go."

"Where you going?" They both asked at once. I frowned a little and pushed them both out of my room so I could lock up.

"Library to study. See you guys later."
