The limo stopped, I felt Cody's hands around my eyes. I was guessing Jake's were around Hannah's and Toby's were around Alex's. He lead me out of the limo.

"1, 2, 3" I heard Toby, Cody and Jake say

His hands came off and I looked around.

We were at thorpe park!

"OMG, I love you Cody....as..as a friend of course"

"yeah okay then beautiful...as a friend"

Alex and Hannah were just as excited as me.

We headed in and the boys bought us the fast track tickets so we got in pretty quickly to most rides.

We went on stealth first. I was so scared. It was so high, how was I ever going to face it? I felt sick. I the realised I was shaking. I held my hands together to try and stop when I felt Cody's hands cover mine. He then moved his arms so they were around me and holding, making me feel safe. How did his hugs do that? I've never had hugs this good before.

We got on and it went from 0 - 180 mph in 2.3 seconds. It was hard keeping my head up. It went up the steep slope so quickly, when we got to the top, it didn't actually look as high as on the ground. We then started plummeting down to the Earth at 180 mph. It was so quick. Before I knew it we were out of the seats.

"I wanna go again!" screamed Alex, Hannah, Toby and Jake.

I looked up at Cody and I knew he knew what I was thinking.

"okay, you guys go, but me and Lily are gunna go over to the bench and watch you" said Cody, basically saving my life

"okay then!" they all went off.

Although they had fast track wrist bands, there was a big queue so they had to wait for a while.

"Are you alright?" asked Cody, sympathetically, as we sat down on the bench

"yeah, just thinking about the argument last night"

"is that as bad as it gets?"

"unfortunately not, it gets a lot worse. We've been close to physically hurting each other. We probably would have if Mike hadn't have stopped us"

"that sucks"

"yeah, it really does"

I started crying again, I hate that he's seen me cry so much, he must have thought I was pathetic.

"I'm sorry"

"hey, it's alright"

He hugged me, and I put my head on his chest. He then reached my wrists. He looked at them.

"that must be painful" he said

"it kills"

"then why do you do it?"

"it relieves the pain"

"why do you have such a bad relationship with your adoptive parents?"

"we had a massive argument when I was 11, and later that da-"

I got cut off by Jake and Toby running around like loonies, obviously trying to impress their girls

That cheered me up. We had a great time for the rest of the day. We went on so many rides, luckily the rest of them weren't as scary as stealth.
