The plane journey there was so fun, even though it took forever! I sat next to Cody, as he insisted and we spent most of the journey talking about everything. It was so nice just to have so much time just me and Cody!
We were due to land at 12:00am in The Hamptons. At about 10:30pm I got so exhausted that I fell asleep.
The next thing I remember was waking up in a really comfy double bed. I checked the time, it was 12:30pm. The room was really big and had two other double beds in it, both had no-one in them but people had been sleeping there. Probably Hannah and Alex. There was an en-suite bathroom attached which was really big too. I washed up, changed and went out of the room and found my way to the kitchen. The view onto the beach was absolutely beautiful, looked slightly familiar. I looked around, like the bedroom, the kitchen was huge and very modern. There were loads of cabinets, a flatscreen TV in a sort of seating area and a big table with enough chairs to fit everyone that came on holiday with us.
On the table there was a note "Morning Lily, if you're reading this it means that you've finally woken up! Brad, Mike and Matt have gone food shopping and will be back around 3ish as they have a lot to buy and the supermarket is quite a way to drive. Sophie, Angie, Alli, Tom, Hannah, Alex, Toby and Jake have all gone to town to get some things and look around and will be back about 3 or 4. I, Cody, am outside, there's something important I need to talk to you about. Go out of the doors and walk down the beach, you'll find me. Love Cody <3". Oh no, had I done something? My heart dropped.
I walked outside, shaking, I was so nervous. I walked for a bit until I saw Cody's blonde hair being blown by the wind.
I walked up to him
"Cody?" I asked
He turned around
"Hey beautiful! You finally woke up I see?"
His positive tone comforted me, but I was still scared
"Cody, what's going on? And why do I recognise this place so much?"
"First of all, you recognise it because you know you told me your happiest memory was that beach with your parents and you spilt your ice cream and then your dad gave you his ice cream to cheer you up?"
"That's this beach? How? What? When? How?"
"This place is your happiest memory and what I'm about to ask you, needed to be in a special place, which it is"
"What are you about to ask me? What's going on?"
"Lily, you are the most amazing girl I know. When I saw your wrist at the VIP, my heart was crushed. You are the most beautiful girl and it killed me to see that. I need to know that you're always okay. I want there to be someone who's always there to make it okay when it's not. I want to be the one to make you smile when your sad. Although we've not known each other very long, it was all I needed to make it clear to myself you are the one person I want to be with. It sounds cheesy but it's how I feel. Lily, my angel, will you go out with me"
I couldn't believe it! This guy that 3 million girls would kill to go out with has just asked me out! The guy that could choose any girl and he chose me. The guy that I was crying over for like 2 years because he never came to England.
"Lily?" He asked, worried
"Yes" I whispered.
He looked deep into my eyes and I looked deep back into his. He looked down at my lips and moved closer and kissed me. I kissed back. I felt on top of the world. I had the most perfect boyfriend ever. We finished the kiss and we smiled at each other.
I heard wolf whistles and Cody and I both looked over to where the noise was coming from. It was everyone that we'd come out with. I blushed and put my head on Cody's chest so no-one could see me blushing. Cody hugged me and kissed the top of my head.
"Took you guys long enough!" Said Toby
"Wanted it to be perfect for my perfect angel" Cody replied
"Awww you guys are adorable!" Said Alli
I looked up at them, my head still resting on Cody's chest and still being cuddled by him.
"Thanks" I winked at Alli
We spent the rest of the day hanging out on the beach, Cody teaching me how to surf and if I fell off my board he'd catch me and cradle me in his arms and he'd kiss me. It was perfect.
