We got to the cinema and all decided on watching The Woman In Black. Seriously, how is that a 12? I spent most of the time in Cody's jacket because I was so scared.
"that was soo scary!" I said to Hannah
"oh was it, I didn't notice"
"probably because you spent most of it with your tongue down Jake's throat"
"Ahh true!" she winked at Jake. He winked back.
"where are we going next?" Alex asked
"up there" Toby said pointing to the top of a hill that had a great view of the sea.
We started walking up the hill. I started complaining half way up the hill and Cody picked me up and swung me over his shoulder.
"better?" he asked
"yep!" I said happily.
We got to the top of the hill and we walked nearer to the edge.
Toby looked at Alex.
"It's such a beautiful view" Alex said to him
"a beautiful girl deserves a beautiful view" he said smiling. "I brought you up here for a reason though Alex. When I met you, I found everything I ever wanted. I found beauty and an amazing personality all in one girl. Not only that but we get along amazingly, you are my best friend. And when I realised what I was looking for in a girl, it was that she had to be my best friend. I want to be the one that you makes you happy, that makes you smile, that makes you get butterflies, because you are all those things for me. Alex, will you go out with me?"
Alex just stared at him, smiling. She was speechless. I had to give her a nudge so she would respond. But even then all she could do was give a little nod to know the answer was yes. They started kissing.
We spent the next two hours talking to each other. Me and Cody.
"what memories do you have of your parents then?"
"there was one, when I was two and a half. Me and my parents went to the hamptons for my mum's 30th birthday. We were on a beach. It was really quiet, only about two or three other people. There was an ice cream van and next to it a fish and chip van. There were also some villas along the beach. One of which was ours. We were eating ice cream and mine dropped into the sea. We arrived at the bottom of the hill and said goodbyes. I hope they could accept my apology!
