Me, Hannah and Alex were on the train on the way up to London. We were so exhausted because we were up all night fangirling over what was going to happen. I don't think any of us could believe it was actually happening.
When we arrived at the station, we got some food. Although we were all too excited to eat, we ate it anyway.
We got to the concert two hours before the show was due to start because we had our VIPs to meet Cody with before hand. We were in line for VIP and just chatting when all of a sudden we heard this massive cheer and we looked around and there he was. Blond hair, blue eyes, gorgeous Australian accent. It was Cody.
Unfortunately, us three were at the back of the VIP line so we had to wait for a long time to get to Cody. I noticed for a lot of the time, Alex was looking at Toby a lot and Hannah was looking at Jake a lot. Toby and Jake were tagging along with Cody on his tour.
When we it got to our turn, Cody looked over at us and gave me this adorable smile that pulled on my heart strings straight away.
Hannah had her photo with him first and then Alex.
I went to go up and gave him my VIP pass for him to sign. But instead of reaching his hand out to get my VIP pass, he went straight for my wrist. 'Oh no, he's seen the scars' I thought to myself. My heart skipped a beat. I couldn't face looking up at him. It must have killed him inside, knowing one of his fans hurt themselves because they were depressed.
I felt his eyes, looking at me. Eventually I could bring myself to look into his eyes. I knew he could see the pain in my eyes. I could see the hurt in his.
He then looked at his guard and said "could you give us a minute, I would like to talk to this angel alone".
Once everyone had gone, it was just me and Cody.
"why would you do this to yourself?"
"I....I haven't had a very good childhood. I don't get along with my adoptive parents very well. It was the only way I could get rid of the anger and frustration"
"can't you talk to anyone? Your friends?"
"I can but at school I'm happy and don't want to speak to them about home life"
"look, I shouldn't do this but, I really think you need to talk to someone about this. Here's my number, now if you ever need to talk, please, please ring me, I will happily talk. You're so pretty, you shouldn't do this"
I looked into his dreamy, blue eyes and smiled. That made me feel 100 times better. I got up and he gave me a hug. It was a hug that made me feel safe and protected. He gave me a smile and we said our goodbyes.
I went outside and saw Toby & Alex having a flirtatious conversation and Jake & Hannah hitting each other in a playful way.
Alex and Hannah both came over to me and asked about it. I explained what happened and they were so jealous I got his number but they both got their new best friend's numbers.
I planted the number that Cody gave me into my phone and we headed off to stadium. The performance was brilliant and half way through Cody gave me a smile, the same one he did after that protecting hug.
