Hiccup
I wake up on the couch. I blink getting my baring. My arm was around Astrid, her head on my shoulder. She looked like an angel, some of her braid came undone. I didn't want to wake her but I did anyway,
"Astrid, Asty wake up".
She groaned.
"I'll feed Stormfly later". She murmured sleepily
"Ast, c'mon". I shook her
"Hiccup"? She asked opening her eyes. Her face went red.
"Morning, Milady, how'd you sleep"? I said grinning at her.
"Pretty well actually, you make a pretty good pillow".
"Thanks, its nice to know I'm good for something".
she slapped my arm.
"Hiccup, your good at a lot of things"!
"I'll take your word for it Milady".
Astrid
Hiccup brought a bag of powdered sugar donuts and we ate on the couch, careful not to get any on the couch.
"So.." I prompted.
"You, Milady are a master of conversation". He toasted me with another donut.
"Haha". I said in a flat voice.
"We should get some ice on that ankle". He said.
He went into the kitchen and came back with an ice pack. He pressed it onto my ankle, I flinched.
"It's cold". I said
"You don't say"! He replied snarkily.
I smiled. I really liked being with him, he was my best friend, he made me feel like I was actually a person. But due to years of bullying, he thought he was useless. He protected me from bullies, I protected him. He also kept me from violently murdering Snotlout.
"What do you wanna do today, dragon boy"? I asked, licking the powdered sugar off my fingers.
"Well, I hear Banes and Noble is having a sale". He said.
"Sounds good".
We went to Barnes and Noble a lot, we almost never bought anything but we picked out a book and sat on the floor. We dog eared the book pages. Though people did buy them.
We went upstairs and I got dressed. Dark blue long sleeve shirt, red skirt with dark leggings. As an after thought I grabbed my denim jacket. I decided that for the first time in forever to let my hair down.
Hiccup
I just put on a long sleeved button down green shirt and a brown sweater. When I was done I went to where Astrid was staying and knocked.
"You decent, Milady"?
"Yes"! she called.
I opened the door. Astrid's hair was down, it fell and framed her face,
"why don't you take a picture, It'll last longer, plus you won't be seeing this again". She said flipping her hair.
"You should wear your hair down more often, it looks nice on you". I said grinning.
She threw a pillow at my face. I batted it away.
"C'mon Milady, your carriage awaits". I said sticking out my elbow.
"Thank you sir Dragon Boy"! She said giggling.
