Chapter Five(Maxwells' Manor)

Abby's PoV
Witnessing a new environment made me forgot all the pain for a few second.Napahinto ako sa paglalakad when I noticed a man maybe around on his 40s staring in our direction but even if he is in his 40s I can still see how handsome he is. Wait,Am I just mistaken or he really did smiled at me.
"Is there something wrong Princess?"
Tinignan ko ang nagtatakang si Ryu and I motioned him to lean down closer to me at saka ako bumulong,"I don't know if I'm just being paranoid but I think that man over there is staring at us."
Ryu look at the direction of the man and there we saw him walking toward us.
"Maligayang pagdating Abby,Ryu."
How did he know us?Is he an enemy?
Ryu hid me behind his back and held his sword na binabalot ng tela. "No need to use that Ryu,we're not your enemy." the man exclaimed
He seem to be a reliable man but I mustn't be fool base on his physical appearance.
"What do you mean,we?Sinasabi mo bang may kasama ka pa?" Ryu asked without releasing his grasp to his sword
The man nodded and another guy approach us.The guy seems so young,sa tingin ko magkasing edad lang kami nito.
"I am Jacob Maxwell,your father the King is one of my closest friend and I highly respect him." I can see through his eyes that he is telling the truth.I can even see the pain he felt for losing my father.
"And this is Arthur my brother.He is the one who helped you to get on the plane easily at siya rin ang dahilan kung bakit nakalusot ang dala mong katana Ryu."Mr.Maxwell exclaimed "Ganun po ba,then let me express our gratitude for your help. Thank you so much." I uttered "You're welcome.I guess it would be better if we discuss some things to our house." Nagkatinginan kami ni Ryu at kitang-kita ko na he disagree about the idea.
"Sige po."
Napakunot-noo naman si Ryu sa sinabi ko.
"Trust me." I whispered Napabuntong hininga na lamang siya at pumayag na lamang. "Okay then,Arthur tulungan mo silang dalhin ang gamit nila." utos ni Mr.Maxwell sa kapatid niya
Nang kukunin na sana niya ang dala kung bag ay pinigilan ko siya,"It's okay I can bring it myself."
He let go of my bag with an annoyed look painted to his face. "Arthur what are you doing?Help the Princess."
"She said she can bring it herself."
"Arthur!I said help the Princess!" Mr.Maxwell uttered in an authoritative tone
Arthur rolled his eyes at saka niya inagaw sa akin ang bag ko at naunang maglakad. Mr.Maxwell sighed,"I'm sorry for his rudeness."
"No It's okay.Ako nalang sana po yung nagdala,kaya ko naman po."
"Next time hindi niyo na po yun kailangang gawin.I am here and I am enough to aid the Princess." Ryu uttered at saka niya dinala ang natitira naming gamit at naglakad palayo.
"I'm sorry for Ryu's rudeness Mr.Maxwell."
Mr.Maxwell laughed timidly,"It's okay,I wonder if those two will get along." After a long wait nakarating rin kami sa bahay nila Mr.Maxwell. "Wow it looks amazing but isn't it too big para sa inyong dalawa?" I gasped
"Yes you're right,malaki ang bahay para sa aming dalawa ni Arthur but now that the two of you are here I think it would be better."
"Mr.Maxwell,are you telling that you're letting us stay in your house?"
"Yes,but let me correct you hindi ko 'to bahay.Ang Dad mo ang nagpagawa ng bahay na 'to para sa aming dalawa.This house served as our hideout back then." Unable to believe what he just say I roamed around and saw a photo of Dad and Mr.Maxwell. "You must be so close with my father,Mr.Maxwell."
It shows in their smile in the photo how happy they are. "Yes,we are."
Linibot ko ang kabuoan ng silid ko.It was designed and arranged based on my taste.Mr.Maxwell told me that Dad prepared this especially for me. I heard knocks on my door bago nito iniluwa si Ryu. He is carrying a medicine kit at naupo siya sa tabi ko. "Lend me your hand Princess." Ryu exclaimed
Dahan-dahan niyang ginamot ang mga sugat at pasa ko. Pero ang pinagtataka ko kailan at paano ko kaya nakuha ang mga pasa't sugat na'to.Siguro ng dahil sa mga nangyari hindi ko na lang namalayan,I was too occupied for the past few days. "Princess,are you okay?" Nagbalik ako sa huwisyo ko ng magtanong si Ryu. "U-h yes I am okay."
"Parang ang lalim kasi ng iniisip mo."
"Haha wala naman akong iniisip.Now,let me heal your wounds this time." I uttered habang hawak-hawak ko ang alcohol
"Huwag na ayos lang ako."
"I am ordering you right now!Show me your wounds." I said trying to imitate Mr.Maxwell's way of speaking back then ng inutusan nya si Arthur
Hinubad ni Ryu ang damit niya sa harapan ko at saka bumungad sa akin ang mga sugat niya.Sa pagkakaalala ko maraming beses nang nasugatan ang katawan niya because of saving me from danger. Sinimulan ko ng gamutin ang sugat niya using cotton buds and wound disinfectant. Palagi na lang akong inililigtas ni Ryu,he take cares of me always and ang isusukli ko lamang sa kanya ay tanging kapahamakan. "Hey Princess hindi mo naman kailangang gawing excuse pa ang paggagamot sa akin because you can directly say it if you want to stare and touch my abs." sambit ni Ryu sabay kindat kaya ayon nakatikim siya ng sapak mula sa akin sa mukha
"Aray!Dinagdagan mo pa ang pasa sa labi ko eh!"reklamo ng mokong
"Tch.Patingin!"
Mukhang napalakas nga ang sapak ko. "Don't move!" I uttered at saka ginamot ang sugat niya sa labi
Napatigil lamang ako sa paggamot when he suddenly smiled slyly. "Ewan ko sayo!You heal it yourself!" sambit ko at inilapag ko ang hawak kung gamot
Ryu suddenly grab my wrist kaya napahiga ako sa kama at pumaibabaw siya sa akin. "Umalis ka nga dyan!" I ordered him pero ang loko ngumisi lang Sinubukan kung bumangon pero mas hinigpitan niya ang pagkakahawak nya sa akin. "You're weak Princess." he uttered arrogantly
Nang may makita akong opening,I used my whole force at tinulak siya kaya siya naman ang nahiga at ako naman ang pumaibabaw.
"You're not the only one who knows how to play a prank Ryu." I murmured trying to tease him He smirked and whispered,"Let's see who is better when it come to pranks."paghahamon niya Ych.Akala ba nya aatrasan ko siya. "Yoah!Art!Need something?"
Gulat akong napatingin sa may pintuan. "This is not a motel!!"Arthur uttered and slammed the door
Agad akong napalayo sa kanya and I threw a punch on his face pero agad namang napabangon at napalayo ang loko.
"I won Princess!"
"Ewan ko sayo!"
Binato ko ng unan ang mukha ng loko at saka ako lumabas sa kwarto
I even heard him laugh.Ugh!Nakakaasar talaga!
"Kung si Yuun pa yun hindi nya ako aasa--"
Waah!!Stupid!Stupid!Stupid!That's not gonna happen. Damn tears!
Napaupo ako sa may hagdanan while wiping my tears off my face. "Dinner's ready.."
"Arthur wait,yung nakita mo kanina wala yun so don't imagine anything wild.Ryu is like a brother to me a very prankster brother."
"I'm not asking for your explanation,I don't care who you are or what you do!The only thing I care for is my brother kaya sana huwag nyo siyang ipahamak dahil ako ang makakabangga niyo." he uttered I can see through his emotionless eyes ang pambabanta niya. "Arthur sandali lang--"
My whole body trembled when Arthur disappeared and Yuun appeared suddenly.
"I killed your father!"
Dad's body bathing on his own blood suddenly appeared lying in front of me. A warm liquid flow down my cheeks and I can't even feel my legs kaya napaupo ako sa harap ng bangkay ni Dad. The last thing I know,ay hawak-hawak na ako ni Arthur before everything turned black.

Ryu's PoV
Habang karga-karga ko ang walang malay na si Abby sa aking mga bisig ay dahan-dahan ko siyang ihiniga sa kama niya.
"Ano bang nangyari Art?"
He look at his brother and uttered,"She suddenly cried and there she collapsed."Arthur explained
She might have remembered what happened to the King.If I could only removed those nightmares from her I would certainly have done it already. "She will be fine."Mr.Maxwell uttered bago sila lumabas ni Arthur
After what we've encountered masasabi kung napakamatatag ni Abby. Kinumutan ko siya at saka ako naupo sa tabi niya. It's already midnight when I realized na nakatulog na pala ako. I stretched my shoulders upang mawala ang sakit nito ng dahil sa pagkakayuko ko habang natutulog.
"Abby?" Inilibot ko ang paningin ko sa buong kwarto but the Princess is nowhere to be found. Bumaba ako and there I saw her and Mr.Maxwell.
"Ryu,come here try this!"she said while munching some food in her mouth as she shows me her plate "Wanna try it?I'll give you a plate of it." pag-aaya ni Mr.Maxwell
"No need for a plate Sire." Inagaw ko ang kutsara ni Abby at saka ako sumubo ng isa. "Hey bakit mo ginamit ang kutsara ko?!It's mine."reklamo niya
"And then?"
She suddenly blushed kaya suddenly a thought came into my mind. "Ah..I knew it!It is because we just had an indirect ki.."
"Shut Up!"
Napahagalpak naman ako ng tawa ng dahil sa reaksyon niya. "Onni-chan please stop him!" "Ryu stop teasing our Princess."
A big question mark flashed in my face ng dahil sa pinagsasabi nila.
"Onnichan?Our Princess?Nabibingi na ba ako?"
"No you're not Ryu.Simula ngayon I would like the two of you to treat and call me as your brother." Mr.Maxwell said "Hahaha you've got a lame joke there Sire."
"I am not kidding Ryu."
Napatigil ako sa pagtawa ng biglang sumeryoso ang mukha niya.
"There's no way I'm gonna call you that Mr.Maxwell,so if you'll excuse me matutulog na ako." Hindi na ako naghintay ng sagot pa at deretso na akong umakyat sa kwarto.Haha brother?Funny isn't it?
