Chapter Three(Invaders!!)

Abby's Pov
A loud ruckus from the outside awake me.
"Mathilde-san?" I called out but no one answered
I heard some footsteps outside my room kaya napatago ako sa gilid ng pinto holding a vase in my hand. The door opened and a shadow of a man was shown. Pagkapasok na pagkapasok ng lalaki I immediately hit his head with the vase and it made him lose his conciousness. If I'm not mistaken this man is also a member of our organization. Lumabas ako sa kwarto at nagulat ako sa nakita ko.Everything's a mess,and Mathilde-san and the owner of this house is nowhere to be found. Halos magpagiwang-giwang na ako sa paglalakad nang dahil sa kaba while looking for them.
"Stop!"
Napasigaw ako ng bigla akong pinaputukan but luckily daplis lang ang nakuha ko. Napatingin ako sa lalaking sumigaw and then I realized that he was the guy that I knocked out earlier. He fired his gun on me continously,kaya ang dalawa kung kamay ay nakatakip sa tenga ko while I'm making my escape. I can't die yet,I need to be safe. Nang makalabas na ako ng bahay,I hid myself behind a pillar while catching my breath.
"I'm sure she's still here let's keep looking."
I held my breath when I heard the voice of the man who's been chasing me just to make sure that I won't be making any noise. "Now you'll be dead!"
My heart almost stop beating when the man appeared in front of me while holding a sword. Napapikit na lamang ako when he lift his sword pero walang tumama sa akin so I opened my eyes.
"Ryu!"I uttered when I saw Ryu standing in front of me receiving the blade which was intended for me. Tumama ang espada sa may pulso niya kaya nag-unahang tumagas ang kanyang dugo.Naputol ang bracelet niya and its beads scattered. He stared at his broken bracelet instead of his wound.Ryu smocked the face of the man kaya napaatras ito.Hinugot ni Ryu ang katana niya and he approached the man who's been lying on the ground,kaya agad naman itong bumangon.Ryu swayed his sword as well as his opponent.As I can see his opponent is also a skilled swordman,uh what am I doing why am I praising someone in a middle of a battle.I need to do something,but what can I do?I can't even fight. Ryu get to stab his opponent without my help,damn I'm so f*cking useless! As I lift my head from the ground I saw a man aiming his arrow at Ryu. Nang pakawalan nito ang kaniyang palasok,I run as fast as I could to cover Ryu. At least,even at once I am capable of protecting him.. Nagbalik ako sa aking sarili when I noticed that I wasn't hit by the arrow,but it's impossible how could it happened? Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang makita ko ang mukha ni Ryu,he was hugging me as blood flows from his mouth.And then I realized that the reason why I wasn't hit was because he turned around and accept the arrow.
"R--yu?" mangiyak-ngiyak kung sambit
A smirked formed from his lips, "Do you really think I would allow you to recieve an arrow for me Princess?"
"Ryu,why are you so stupid!!Stupid!Stupid!"
Niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit kaya mas lalo akong napa-iyak.I can feel his heavy breath before he totally become unconcious. I saw Mathilde-san pulling the trigger of his gun while pointing it to the man who did this to Ryu before approaching us. Kinarga ni Mathilde-san at ng matandang lalaki si Ryu papasok ng bahay habang ako ay nakasunod sa kanila habang umiiyak.
"Leave him to me.You and the Princess,just wait outside." the old man uttered at sumang-ayon naman kami
I stared at my trembling hands stained with Ryu's blood.How useless of me.Ryu's been receiving a lot of pain and injuries which were intended for me but why can't I receive just a single arrow for Ryu. "Your Highness don't worry Ryu-sama's a tough guy,a single arrow is nothing for him." Mathilde-san kneel down and wipe the blood on my hands.
The two of us waited for hours before the old man came out from the room wiping his sweat off his face.
"He is safe.."
Parang nabunutan ako ng tinik sa dibdib at nakahinga na ng malalim. Pumasok ako sa kwarto after showing my gratitude to the old man. I sat down on a chair beside the bed where Ryu's lying.
"You saved me again by sacrificing yourself.You may have saved me from being hurt physically but sinaktan mo naman ako emotionally,you fool."
I bit my lower lip to refrain myself from crying out loud. Napatingin ako sa pulso niya.Nasugatan ito kanina nang sinalo niya ang katana kanina para sa akin. Napatayo ako bigla when I remembered the bracelet.Hindi niya yun tinanggal,so it means he still treasure it.I need to find it. Agad kung hinalughob ang damuhan and luckily nakita ko agad ito. "What are you doing here?" Napalingon ako sa likod nang may nagsalita.It was Ryu.
"Nakita ko 'to." I smiled as I showed him his bracelet
"Are you stupid?!"galit na sambit niya
Natulala ako sandali and I couldn't find the right word to say,hindi ko kasi ine-expect na ganito ang magiging reaksyon niya.
"Hindi mo man lang ba naisip na baka meron pang kalabang nagtatago sa malapit?!"
"Wala na naman eh,so don't be mad.Hinanap ko lang naman ito because it is important to you." Hinablot niya ang bracelet mula sa kamay ko at itinapon ito sa damuhan,just like what he did to my bracelet.
"Who said it's important huh?!How could it be important kung ang nagbigay nito is a murder!That scumbag and that bracelet are just trashes!"
I slapped his face which made him stop. "I also hate him more than how you hate him because the one he killed is my own father,but I can't afford to hate the innocent child who gave us that bracelet back then.So,for pete's sake could you stop badmouthing the innocent Yuun!"
Tinulak ko siya palayo kaya napaatras siya.I wiped my tears off my eyes and went back to the house.
