Chapter Nine(The Gangsters)

Taking a bath really wash offs the fatigue on my body na nakuha ko nang dahil sa kasamaan ni Abby.After getting myself ready,I went down and greeted my brother nang walang kabuhay-buhay who is sitting in the sofa while drinking his favorite tea.He waved his hand and greeted me back. "Want some Art?"
"No thanks,I don't like drinking tea I would prefer coffee."I said and positioned myself beside him
"Nasaan ang dalawa?"I asked as I wandered my eyes around looking for Ryu and his Princess "Abby went out for a walk and Ryu told me na susundan niya daw ito."my brother answered My brother stood up and went to the kitchen,without bothering myself by following him there I opened the tv at nanood ng palabas.
"You catch it!"Kuya said and threw a can of coffee to me,mabuti na lang at nasalo ko ito
I took a sip of my coffee and threw my attention to the show. "Mamaya niyo imi-meet ang taong yun,diba?"
"Oo Kuya,I wonder if mabilis siya kausap."sambit ko
"I hope hindi siya katulad mo."he said and laugh timidly Back then I only wanted to live peacefully with my brother,without having any connection with anything related to mafia.I only care for my brother and myself but now I guess I've changed because I am starting to care for them.

Abby's PoV
I've been doing my morning walk right now when I noticed someone following me.Without turning back binilisan ko ang paglalakad ko na para bang patakbo na ako.My heart almost jumped outside my body when someone suddenly grabbed my shoulder. "Did I scared you?"the guy asked
I rolled my eyes when I saw that it's Ryu and I clinced my fist at ibinato ito sa kanya but to my disappointment nasalo niya ito.Nagpatuloy ako sa paglalakad at pinabayaan siyang nakasunod. "Siguro,you really enjoyed teasing me yesterday?"tanong niya
"Of course,I enjoyed it!"I uttered in an annoying way
Ryu grabbed and cornered me sa isang pader.His long bangs moved slowly as the air blows,a curve was formed in his lips and his brownish eyes were fixed at me.
"Is it your way of getting revenge?Cornering me in a wall and then what?Are you going to punch me?"
His lips formed a smirk which is much more annoying than Arthur's,"No,hindi kita sasapakin.How about I'll steal that lips of yours?"
I clinched my fist at isinapak iyon sa tiyan niya,kaya I was freed from being cornered."Buti nga sayo,you PERVERT!"I uttered at iniwan siya
Until we got home he's been teasing me all about how strong my punch daw,I choosed to ignored him kaya nakauwi pa siya ng buo at buhay. After having our breakfast,the four of us gathered at the balcony.Onnichan's been typing something on his laptop as the three of us wait silently for him to finish.The clicking sound of the keyboard is the only sound that can be heard around us. "Okay!"Onnichan uttered Ihinarap niya ang laptop sa aming tatlo and there it shows a profile about someone."That is Chen Rios,the grandson of the Rios Gangster Clan's founder Marcus Rios.He is now the leader of their clan dahil matapos mamatay ni Sir Marcus ay ipinasa niya ito sa apo niya." Pinasadahan ng aking mga mata ang mga nakasulat na impormasyon tungkol sa kanya and the thing which really caught my attention is his age.He is 17 years old same as Ryu and in his very young age siya na ang leader ng clan nila.Well,it's not that surprising naman para sa aking dahil si Ryu nga ay isa sa pitong general ng kingdom.
"So saan namin siya makikita?"tanong ni Ryu
"We're going to his school."Arthur answered
"So,ano pang hinihintay natin?Let's go."I uttered at nauna nang maglakad sa kanila papunta sa sasakyan and waited for them We travelled almost an hour on the way to Chen's school. Pagdating namin sa exact location,we saw nothing but only a long wall which is blocking our way. "Sigurado ka bang tama ang napuntahan natin?"I hesitantly asked Arthur
"Ofcourse,I am dead sure."maangas na sagot niya
"I think behind this wall is where what we are looking for."Ryu commented
Sinuri namin ang mataas na pader and there we saw an ID Sensor.Thanks to the flashdrive given by Onnichan to us which contains the program that will hack their security system at hindi kami nahirapan sa pagpasok.May hinalungkat lang si Arthur na mga wires na nakakonek sa sensor at saka niya ikinabit sa  kung anong part ng flashdrive,then buala the gate opened for us. Pagsara ng pagsara ng gate a group of students or should I say gangs confusely stared at us,obviously confused how we managed to get inside.
"INTRUDERS!"one of the student shouted which made the others alert
They started to ran away hanggang sa kaming tatlo na lang ang naiwan.
"Did we scared them?"I awkwardly asked the the two
"I don't think so."Arthur muttered when the group of students who just ran-off earlier came back while carrying a piece of wood while the rest are clinching their fist and giving us some death glares
Ryu pulled me behind his back as some started to attacked us."Wait,please hear us out first!"I shouted trying to get their attentions."
"We're not here to do any harm to each of you."
"Then why are you here,invading in our school?"a guy in glasses rebutted
"We just want to meet Chen Rios.."
Biglang binalot ng katahimikan ang kapaligiran ng banggitin ko ang pangalan na iyon.Did I keep them calm?
"You must be a part of Lopez Gang!We are not letting you touch him!"a female with an angelic face shouted
A guy in my left suddendly lift a wood and tried to hit me pero nasalo ito ni Ryu at saka niya pinatid ang lalaking sumubok hampasin ako.Napatulala ako sandali ng dahil sa gulat pero nagbalik ako sa huwesyo ulit ng hilain ako ni Ryu patungo sa likod niya.The students started to attacked and because of that we don't have a choice but to fight back.A group of male students attacked Ryu but they are no match to him. "Arthur,Ryu,huwag niyo silang saktan remember we're not here to make enemies."pagpapaalala ko sa kanila
Arthur smirked as usual while the latter nodded and started kicking the students' weapons. "Don't lose your attention in a battle,Miss."
I moaned in agony when the female student with an angelic face yet deadly fighting skills kick me so hard.Ryu and Arthur looked at my direction and tried to lend me a hand but they couldn't escape from their enemies right now. I rolled on the floor when she tried to hit me with a single stick of wood.My shooting skills might have improved already pero ibang usapan naman pagdating sa combat skills ko.Hindi pa ako nakakapagpractice kaya all I can do for now is to avoid her punches,kicks,and hits. Sa bawat hampas niyang naiilagan ko ay siya namang panggagalaiti niya sa galit.
"Anong kaguluhan ito?"
The ruckus suddenly stopped when a male surely not in his twenty's spoke out.
"Stupid,bakit ka lumabas?"galit na singhal ng lalaking nakasalamin sa kanya
"Hindi ako makakapayag na kayo na lang ang lalaban,if you want to protect me you can but I will never treat you all as my shield."mala-otoridad nitong sambit at doon ko lang naklaro na si Chen Rios na pala itong kaharap namin ngayon
"Now tell me,who in the name of Rios Gangster Clan invaded our territory and tried to hurt my family?"he asked
I stood straight at tumikhim,"We're not here to do any harm,we just want to talk to you."
"State your name."he ordered Lumapit si Ryu sa akin at saka niya hinarap ang aming kausap.
"Let me introduce,Princess Abby Clivies."
Kitang-kita ko sa mata ni Chen ang pagkagulat and the next thing I knew he is already bowing to me. "Princess,so-sorry for our rudeness."he uttered Sumunod namang yumuko ang mga kasamahan niya.I may be a Princess but I don't really like when someone's bowing at me,all I need is their respect as their fellow human being.
"Ayos lang,and please no need to bow like that.I'm not really comfortable when someone bows at me."
All of them stood up immediately at saka naman kami inanyayahang pumasok ni Chen sa bahay niya.I never thought na siya pala ang may-ari ng school ang akala ko nag-aaral lang siya dito. The four of us are sitting right now in the living room nang pumasok ang babaeng nakalaban ko kanina and served us some drinks.
"By the way to formally introduce myself,I am Chen Rios of Rios Gangster Clan and this is Mina,my friend."said Chen as he pointed the latter
She bowed slowly at saka umalis kaagad.
"Ano bang maipagsisilbi ko sa inyo?"
"Actually,Chen we need a hand.Siguro alam mo na naman siguro ang kaguluhang nangyayari sa Kingdom.My father was killed sa taong pinagkakatiwalaan niya,namin." "What?Anong ibig mong sabihin?Alam ko na namatay si Haring Lii,pero ang sabi nila isa sa mga kalaban ng Clivies ang pumatay.And they said that her daughter ran away living all her responsibility."
"Ano?They lied!I'm being chased by them!"
Napahagulhol na lang ako bigla,I can't stop myself.Sobra na sila after killing and betraying my father gagawa pa sila ng kwento. "Princess,I'm sorry."Chen apologized
"No need to apologized,wala kang kasalanan.I just want to ask for your help Chen.I want to get the kingdom back and to protect those people who believes in my father."
"You can count me in Princess.My family promised to serve your family."
"Thank you Chen."
"It's my pleasure,Princess."
After having our soft conversation,nagpaalam muna ako sa sakanila na magbabanyo muna ako.Paglabas ko ay nakaabang na si Mina.She's been biting her lower lip at hindi siya makatingin sa akin
"Mina,may kailangan ka ba?" "Uhm...Princess,about sa nangyari kanina I'm so sorry I just want to protect Chen."napatakip siya sa kanyang mukha at humagulhol ng iyak
I hugged her at saka ko pinunasan ang mga luha niya.Her innocent face shone as she looked at me. I gave her a smile and patted her head,"I understand,you don't have to say sorry dahil kung ako ikaw I would still do the same."
She smiled at me saka niya ako niyakap ng mahigpit.I was surprised about her actions but yet I felt happy.When she noticed na natahimik ako agad siyang napabitaw at humingi ng tawad sa akin.I hugged her back at mas hinigpitan pa ito.
"Don't say sorry at isa pa I am happy because of your warm hug just now."
The Rios Clan gathered altogether to bid their farewell to Chen.
While saying their goodbyes napansin ko si Mina,I can see how worried she is. "Mina,huwag ka nang mag-alala.I promise I will protect Chen for you." "Thank you Princess."
