"A-aaah... Natsu... please be more gentle"
Wendy's body stiffened, her face turning scarlet!
"Wendy, are you okay? Your face is really red" Igneel asked as he happened to see Wendy's burning face when he passed by.
"P-Papa!...etto... I-..." she stuttered "N-Natsu-niisan and Lucy-neesan..." Wendy was too flustered to say anything!
"Aaah-...mmmmm...N-Natsu..."
Igneel was taken aback when he heard Lucy moaning!
"Papa, let's leave-" but Wendy stopped mid-sentence when she saw tears spilling from her father's eyes!
"Natsu has already grown up! And so fast!"
"Wendy... Igneel" the father and daughter pair flinched when they heard Grandine's voice!
"Wendy, why haven't you given the bandages to Natsu yet? And you, Igneel, aren't you suppose to clean the clutter you caused in our bedroom?"
"M-Mama... etto... Papa just happened to notice me standing outside Nats-niisan's room just a minute ago and he asked what's wrong?" she lied, though it sounded more of a question.
"Grandine... you see, Wendy was a little afraid that she will disturb Natsu and Lucy" Igneel said, chuckling nervously
Grandine's eyes suspiciously narrowed into slits as the two kept fidgeting under her intense gaze
"M-Mama! / G-Grandine!" they called at he same time when she casually marched into Natsu's room!
There, they saw Natsu and Lucy on the bed. Natsu was holding Lucy's foot with one hand as the other presses an icepack against her ankle.
"I heard about your sprained ankle, Sweetie. Does it still hurt so much?" Grandine asked.
Lucy shook her head "I only twisted it slightly, Tita. Please do not worry about it too much. I can manage" she replied with a smile.
Grandine gave a small container filled with thick dark green cream to Natsu. "Apply this on the swollen part, Dear. This will heal the foot faster" Natsu nodded
"Thank you so much, Tita" Lucy said
"Wendy" Natsu called, noticing Wendy and Igneel have also entered the room after Grandine. "the bandages?"
"H-hai! I-it's here Natsu-niisan" Wendy stuttered, handing the bandages to Natsu.
Face tinged pink with shame, Wendy couldn't meet Natsu's eyes. 'Baka! Why would you even think Natsu-nii and Lucy-nee doing those kind of things?!'
"Just rest for now Lucy" Grandine kissed Lucy's head and headed out of the room.
But before she exited, she stopped in front of her husband and daughter "You should also go to bed, Wendy. And you, Igneel," she paused, giving a scowl to her husband "go clean our room, now"
"H-Hai!" the father-daughter pair exclaimed in sync and exited the room after Grandine.
"I tracked you down by your scent" Natsu suddenly muttered as he wrap the bandages around Lucy's foot. "Along with it were the smell of liquor, cigarette and stinky sweat... There were bastard delinquent punks chasing you, right?" Natsu's voice was calm and yet venom disdain were lacing his words to those delinquents.
