Ashton POV
"I'm throwing it, but for you, so you decide what you want," Kim said. We were at lunch and she was talking about our party.
"Sure."
"Beer."
"We're talking about a party, yeah?"
She laughed. "Weed."
"Yeah, please."
"Strippers."
"Yeah, but only if its male and female both. Everyone should have fun."
The table rocked with laughter again. You could say I was already in a better mood.
"You want male strippers for your party?" Kim asked.
"Correction. I want hot male strippers for our party. At least as hot as I am."
"Where would I find those?" Kim asked, winking at me.
"Dan would do it, won't you baby? For me?" I fluttered my eyelashes at him.
"What do I get for that?"
"Well, how about tonight, I could..." I put my lips on his ear and mumbled something, pretending to whisper. Dan stood up, put one of his legs on the bench and made a show of grabbing his collar, starting to unbutton his shirt. The girls whistled and Jackson fell off his bench laughing.
That was the problem. I still liked those guys, despite the fact they were homophobic and one of my friends was gay. Bigotry is not okay, but does that really help, hating people back?
I felt a buzz in my pocket and read the text, which informed me Seth was heading for the rooftop. I stood as well and laid on Dan's back.
"Well, ladies, me and Dan have to go now. We'll see you later and if you miss us too bad, just call."
"Where are you going?" Kim asked, leaning on Dan's arm.
"We're gonna go have sex in the janitors closet," he said, faking total seriousness.
Kim laughed and turned to me. "Really, where are you going? Can I come?"
"You wanna watch?"
"Stop it!" she laughed. "Tell me where are you going and this time be serious."
Dan stood, taking my arm. "I'm sorry, Kim, for tricking you. Okay, I'll stop lying. We're going to have sex on the rooftop." She threw a fry at us, but we were already on our way, laughing. What a waste of a good fry.
When we reached the rooftop, it was empty. As we were looking around, we heard a shout and turned around, Seth's head was poking over the ledge.
"Don't jump!" I yelled and Dan laughed along with me. Seth, however went pale, opened his mouth to argue and then laughed nervously when he realized it was a joke.
"Oh, damn, sorry," I muttered. "Too soon, eh?" We had come to discuss debilitating bulling which had already claimed one life, yeah suicide jokes were too soon. I'm an idiot sometimes.
Seth was sitting on the fire escape and drawing. With a fountain pen. I really got this kid figured out on first try. Me and Dan sat down on either side of him.
"Sooo... How was your day?" I asked, peeking at his drawings. It was stylised view with some random extra elements, like an elephant in the parking lot and a ferris wheel in the background. Not dark at all, damn.
Seth shrugged. "How was yours?"
"Quite fine. Kim's been talking about the party this whole time and I really wish you would..." I started, but was interrupted when Dan grabbed Seth's chin and turned his face.
