Daniel POV

We were trying to be modest, Ash and I. For one, Seth had recommended we not change our behavior too much from the first few days. Also, I could see the looks of panic in our friends' eyes whenever we looked at each other for too long. They were not comfortable with the idea of us two, and since they had made such good progress since ignoring us at lunch, I thought we could give them a break.

I thought wrong, it seems. It was just such fun flirting with Ash that I couldn't resist. Our friends' reactions were funny, I liked thinking of ways to casually torment them and I loved how Ash would meet me halfway with all of our stupid innuendos. Often enough initiate them. To be honest, I was doing my best to faze him, make him lose his composure for a bit, and while he was doing the same, it hadn't worked yet.

We were at the mall,  stocking up on random party supplies. The guys found a shelf of all the adult goods and were throwing packs of condoms in the cart, joking about whether it was enough for tomorrow.

"You need anything?" Jacob grinned, looking at me. He was just asking for it.

"Ash, do we?" I asked, and the guys around me went pale, shifting from one foot to another.

"Yeah, while we're here, we are running out of..." Ash grabbed a bottle of lube, chucking it into our shared cart, "... home and..." he grabbed a handful of small bottles, smaller than hotel shampoos, "... away."

"What's that mean? What is he doing?" Ross asked in a whisper.

I looked down at the cart. "Volunteering to be a bottom it seems, cause I ain't having anything strawberry flavoured in my ass."

They were squirming and it was fun. Who would have thought I would someday be lying about... well, Ash doing certain things to me.

"Umm, guys, at the party you can't do that," Jacob said, a nervous edge to his voice.

"Why not?"Ash asked, his voice defensive.

"I don't wanna hear about that kinda stuff, much less see it."

"Then don't peek at us fucking, you perv!"

And while I supported Ash's idea of gay couples getting to act like straight ones at a party, them expecting that of us needed to be shut down now. "But if we ignore the blatant homophobia for a moment there, no need to worry, Jacob. Not really the horny drunk types, neither of us, and if we want a go we'd prefer to go home first." We kinda were that type actually, especially me, but that wouldn't happen this year.

"You don't like drunk party sex? Who doesn't like drunk party sex?" Robbie asked.

"Yeah!" That was Ash. The moron.

"It's kinda the same as drunk after party sex, just with getting interrupted and having to sneak home in the morning."

"It's not the same!" Ross defended, hands on his hips. The guys behind him were nodding along, offended like I insulted their mothers. I tried my best to ignore Ash nodding along with them, hoping they did too. What part of 'we don't want to fuck each other' had slipped his mind?

"Well, you can go back to the party after," Robbie said.

"If you have the energy, then you're doing something wrong."

"More people at a party! You can have a threesome, or maybe a foursome!"

I shook my head. "Yeah, we're not doing that."

"Why not?"

"Call me crazy, but I don't enjoy watching other people bang my boyfriend."

It looked like the thought had never occurred to them. "Aren't gays supposed to be... promiscuous? I mean, can you really get like, jealous over another dude?"
