CHAPTER 10 - MORE

When I came into, I blinked my eyes for several times. I also let out a small sigh. My eyes started to wander unto the ceiling. It was dark but at the large upper portion was a crack which allows me to see the twinkling stars. I tried to move my body but I noticed cold handcuffs to my wrists. However the wounds on my stomach and chest were bandaged.

Shit.

I started to move to my side and slowly started to get up from the bed.

I was frozen in what I saw.

Despite the dark appearance of the room, I could see him from the fire blazing between us.

Daiki.

He also looked at me expressionless.

I don't know where we are but from the surroundings, I fathom we are in an abandoned building. Probably n used to be apartment built of cement.

A blazing bonfire separated me from Daiki who was sitting on a dirty long sofa. The smoke flies from the large crack on the ceiling.

At his back, I could see the silhouette of an abandoned kitchen with a half-opened door to one side which is probably the comfort room given the dim lit tiles from the fire.

Cracks of the building as well as large chunks of debris scatter from side to side.

From the center of this all is Daiki who was just staring at me. I also stared at him back. His legs were crossed and he was resting his small head with his back hand on one of the right side arm of the sofa. He was wearing black as usual but his upper body was exposed and a bandage spread from his shoulder to his chest. That was probably from the wound I gave him. He was looking at me like I was some entertainment to him but his expressions wore nothing.

Long silence befell us. The only sounds that could be heard were the cracking woods from the bonfire.

Finally...

"What are you thinking?" I glaringly asked him.

He just kept silent.

"I said.." I was startled when Daiki got up from his sit and walked towards me.

I stifled as he suddenly grabbed my cheeks with one hand.

"I see you have a special ability?" He finally said.

I just looked at him with angry eyes.

"You can heal fast than any other being." He declared.

"Don't touched me!!" I shouted at him as I slapped his hand against me.

I tried to stand up firm to him although I could sense his anger.

He looked at me as if he is seeking blood. His hand suddenly went to my neck.

"Aackkk!!" I cried out.

Daiki moved closer to me. "You always dare to defy me and would make things that would never fail to make me angry."

I flinched as his grip unto my neck became tighter.

I am slowly losing my breath.

"Y-you... Bas-tard..." I muttered to him.

He suddenly slapped me on my face.

"You are my toy." He said in a low alluring voice.

"Sh-shut up." I answered him with my breath haggard. Both my hands started to grip his arm which was clenching my neck.
