Stan seems to think he has the most boring life ever. Sure, he has a decent family, amazing friends, but he still doesn't have the one thing everyone else around him has. What everyone always talks about and the one thing he's always secretly wanted. That thing is love. Yes, Stan doesn't seem like the type of guy to be in love with love, but he definitely does not hate it.

He's always been so envious of all of his friends since it seemed as if they all had someone to love. Bev has Ben, Bill has some girl named Audra he always talks about, Richie has Eddie and Mike has some girl on the cheerleading squad. Stan's always been the loner of the group, always getting the occasional 'why haven't you brought a significant other around, Stan? I'm sure you've met someone.' or 'any hotties getting your dick wet lately?' (the last question being from Richie obviously). It was starting to get to him at this point. 'Maybe it's a sign...' he thought to himself.

This day- Stanley thought it was a usual one, but little did he know he was completely wrong- Stan came home and hung his backpack on a little hook on his door before taking his shoes off and flopping onto his bed. He sighed softly to himself and looked up and the ceiling, his hair blocking a small portion of his eye sight. As soon as he remembered something he quickly rose from his bed and ran over to his computer, turning it on and logging in into an app he downloaded. Little did the losers know, Stan downloaded an app that helps you meet new people and make new friends. Yes, he was that desperate.

As soon as he logged in he used the mouse to scroll through his messages, seeing they're completely empty. "Shit." he mumbled angrily, slamming his fist on the desk. "Stanley!" his mother,  Andrea, yelled warningly from downstairs. "Sorry, Ma!" He yelled back, letting out a small sigh. He checked one more time, even though he knew there was no point, then got up to go sit back down. As soon as he turned his back he heard his computer ding and he eagerly turned back around and sat back down. He had no idea who the person was, but he was very excited to meet them.

Stan took a moment to read the message before laughing softly to himself.

'howdy partner, how are you this fine friday evening?'

Little did he know what he was getting himself into.
