Shaking my head I went and sat down again my legs feeling like jelly not sure how to react to all of this, then I sat up straight and decided to just go with everything. "Why the hell not" I thought, "It's not like there's anything waiting for me back home and my life has been hell this far, so why not just let go and believe everything they say about my family, fuck what the hell do I have to loose" I stood up again and walked back to where Catherin was still standing. "Okay, then tell me everything from the beginning please" The older woman smiled brightly and took my hand, leading me to a couch inside her room. It was pretty comfy and soft; I only hope my tiredness wouldn't get the best of me while sitting here. It seemed like hours went by before Catherin came to the end of her story, "So you see my dear, you're the last of your kind" she patted my hand and got up telling the servant standing outside the door to bring them something fresh to drink. Then she turned back and went to stand on the balcony again. I went and stood next to her looking out and seeing the sun starting to set just behind the mountains.

"So.... My parents took me and ran to keep me save, but who ever wanted to hurt me and use me for my powers caught up to us and killed my parents?" Nodding her head yes the older woman looked over to me with tears in her eyes. "But why didn't he kill me or kept looking for me after they were gone?" I asked her still completely confused about it all. A frown appeared on her face and she shook her head again, "I don't know the answer to that my dear, I honestly don't know why he stopped then" Seeing the truth in her eyes I could only look away and sigh. "Okay, so why don't we have enough time? Why are you in such a hurry to let me know all of this? What is going on Catherin?"

I folded my arms across my chest and turned to look at the woman who shocked me with everything, yet again, my life started to sound close to those romance novels I loved to read, only thing missing is my prince charming. Again she cleared her throat and turned to me amazed at how well I was taking everything. "The time is on hand for you to have your first shift into a dragon my dear, In only two days you will become what you've always been destined to become, when the blood moon rise at midnight on the second night from now you will receive your dragon" Nodding my head in understanding I knew if that happened without me knowing I would have been ripped apart and not been able to put myself back together again, my mind would have been lost to never be found again. "But there is something else that will happen before then" Catherin spoke again and looked a little embarrassed about what she was going to say next. My eyebrow rose telling her to continue.

"Ummm... You and your mate will have to go through the mating and marking ritual first" she said with a half shy smile on her lips. I looked at her shocked and with my mouth open, Catherin laughed at that and used her finger to close my mouth. "Ohhhh kaayyy and what are the mating and marking ritual exactly?" Still laughing a little Catherin explains to me what was going to happen and that neither me or Jake would be able to with stand the pull to be together tonight and the whole off the next day. I blushed bright red at hearing this; I was still a virgin and have never had sex in any way shape or form. The servants came for me then smiling when they saw me looking better than before. They took me back to my room to start and get me ready for the night ahead, to say I was nervous was an understatement, my stomach was in knots and my palms was sweaty no matter how many times I wiped them off.....
