The shock

"Please take a seat my dear" he motioned to a chair in his office. I walked over to it and sat down. "I am afraid that what I am about to tell you will hurt a lot but I hope you know that you are safe here and we would do anything to protect you from them" he started with after sitting down on a chair across from me.

"Okay please just tell me the truth and do it quick like ripping of the bandage" I sighed crossing my hands in my lap with my back straight and eyes on the man in front of me. He looked to be old enough to be my father but had a strong aura around him. Seemed since I sifted into my dragon I was able to see peoples auras and a light around them.

The light would be a different colour depending on the persons rank or status. He cleared his throat and shifted around in his seat. "Okay but first things first, I think it would be best if I introduced myself to you" he said with a small smile on his face. I nodded my head at him and waited for him to continue.

"I am Brandon I am the alpha dragon of the red diamond cove" I stopped breathing at that point and looked at him with my mouth open. "B..b..but I don't understand they told me I was the last of my species?" I frowned at him. He shook his head.

"No my dear, they lied to you, I am guessing to keep you from searching for us and your people" he said with gritted teeth and a scowl on his face. Again I could only nod and wait for him to continue. He went on and explained to me that I was a descendent from the royal family that I was in fact the daughter of the old king and queen from their cove.

That I disappeared when I was two years old and they were looking every where for me and when their best warrior finally found me and killed the people who stole me I ran away again and the search for me started again. My mind went back to that night when I saw my parents or should I say the people I thought was my parents get killed it was the warrior that I saw.

I gulped down the lump in my throat that started forming, my life was one hell off a big mess. When he saw I was looking at him again he continued the story. The wolfs apparently found me before they did and wanted me to mate with a wolf so they could use me to have control over both kingdoms.

My eyes grew wide when what he said sank in and my heart started beating uncontrollable in my chest. "I...I...mated with him, he marked me and I marked him.....shit..... What the hell do I do now?" I looked at Brandon with pure fear on my face.

He came over and put his hand on my shoulder to calm me down. "No my dear its not that easy to become a dragons mate especially if its not from the same species as yourself" he said with another reassuring smile. Again I frowned down at my hands that was still in my lap.

"I will explain everything about that when we are on our way to the castle were your family is waiting anxiously to be reunited with you after all this time and then you will see that I am telling you the truth" he patted my shoulder and got up waiting for me to join him.
