I woke up with a pounding headache; my body felt like it was run over by a truck, my legs felt cramped, my back was aching. Groaning confused and dazed I tried to sit up, but I bumped my head against something hard, letting out a lot of curses while rubbing the small bump on my forehead. When I opened my eyes the first thing I saw was that I was in some kind of wooden box with air holes on top, it looked like a crate were you ship merchandise in. Instead of merchandise wrapping, there was bedding inside to make it a little bit more comfortable for a person, the wood was thick and sturdy, it would take a lot to be able to break it. Only a little bit of light came through the holes that was made in the lid of the crate, as well as air making the wooden box feel stuffy thick and suffocating. Becoming scared I pushed against the lid to try and open it, but it wouldn't budge, a panic attack was starting and I knew I needed to calm myself down fast or I will blackout and I couldn't black out now, not when my life seemed to be in danger. When I stopped moving, I could hear people talking somewhere on the outside. Too afraid to make a sound, I layed still and tried to remember what happened the night before, my head was still aching and my eyes blurred with tears......
The night before
I went out to the local pub with my friends, they made me go with them saying that I couldn't lock myself away from the world forever, even if I didn't want to go out, I went with them against my own better judgement. I prevered my cosy one bedroom apartment, just sitting in front of the fire, with a glass of wine and a good book to read. I hated noisy places and drinking, dancing and sweety bodies has never appealed to me. We ended up having a lot of fun even with all my grumbling about the drunk men that was leering at us the whole night, but I knew I didn't drink too much. I was never a heavy drinker; I always had to be aware of what was going on around me, past experiences made me a little paranoid and growing up in foster homes wasn't helping my paranoid state. The last thing I remembered was saying goodbye to my friends and walking outside to my car, feeling drunk and dizzy, rubbing my neck and forehead to get rid of the foggy feeling in my head and then everything went black, now I knew that someone must have spiked my drinks, it was the only explanation for the predicament I found myself in. The feeling of being watched the whole night suddenly made sence now and I should have been more carefull and aware. Becoming more and more scared I started pushing against the lid again, still it didn't move, my arms was still half numb from the drugs they gave me. After trying for about ten more minutes, my fear started to change into anger, it seemed that I always had the strangest reactions to things in my life. When I am suppose to be scared, I get angry and vice versa. Banging as hard as I could, I began to scream at the people I could still hear. "LET ME OUT, WHY AM I IN HERE? PLEASE LET ME OUT!!!" Footsteps could be heard coming towards me, men was chuckling just outside my crate, there was a shuffle on the outside and then some kind of smoke was injected into the crate, making me cough and covering my nose and mouth to try and keep it from choking me to death, before I blacked out again, I heard a plane start and my last thought was "Oh dear Lord I am going to be sold somewhere" and then I knew nothing anymore.
The two men smiled at each other when they heard her go quiet. "At least she will be asleep until we get to our first destination, and won't give us a headache the whole way" Laughing the other man agreed and they took off from the small runway where they hid the plane. Everything went off without a hitch and they couldn't be happier about it , they found the woman they were looking for pretty easily, even though it took the people before them years to find her, not to mention the countless mistakes were the wrong woman was taken. She lived in a small town in the Free State in South Africa. They looked up the town of Brandfort and saw there was an abandoned private airstrip just on the outskirt of the small town that would work in their favour. The flight out there took a couple of days where they had to stop to refuel a few times and when they got there they were pretty tired, they landed the plane there and hid it in an empty warehouse not too far from the runway, it was from a previous business that used to be there but was now abandoned. After making sure there were no people around and the plane was hidden well, they walked to town making sure no one saw them, from there they booked into a hotel using fake IDs. Then they began looking for her all over town, they tried inquiring about her but the people were pretty tight lipped and didn't give out any information, it seemed it was a close knit community and people there looked out for each other. It was a week later when they saw her for the first time inside the one supermarket, they couldn't believe their luck and their good timing. From there they followed her around discreetly and began planning where and how to take her, without being caught. It was another week later when they got what they wanted. They were sitting in the pub of the hotel when she walked in with her friends, they couldn't believe that they were finally going to be able to get what they came for and would be able to go home pretty soon. When they saw she was ready to leave, they got up and moved closer to her making sure she didn't see them and then they spiked her last drink without anyone noticing. Half an hour later they followed her outside and catches her just before she could fall to the ground. They put her inside her car, one stayed outside while the other one went and booked out of the hotel and fetched their stuff he came back and they drove carefully back to the warehouse where the plane was, to make sure they were good they waited until dawn to pull out the plane from the warehouse. They got the plane ready and had put their fragile cargo in a wooden crate laid out with soft material so she wouldn't be able to get hurt on their way, because if she was harmed in anyway shape or form, they wouldn't live to see the sun rising of a new day. After securing her and making sure she could get enough air they finally left the very boring and small town behind hoping that their boss would give them a bonus for finally completing their mission correctly and not fucking up like the others did....
