Life continues

The three days I spend with my Blake in the cave was amazing. We barely left the bed the whole time we were at the cave, but unfortunately life has to go on and we need to go back to the castle. We left late the afternoon and arrived at the castle after dark. Blake told me that from now we would share a room and no longer live apart. I only smiled at this not having one ounce of problem with that idea. We were shown to our room when we arrived by my over excited mother who wanted details on everything we did at the cave.

Blake only laughed at her questions and me... Well I turned bright red and told her very firmly that no details would be given out. "You are beyond beautiful when you blush babe" Blake told after pulling me into his arms and hugging me to him. My mother left us after trying still for details even after we reached our room. When she finally realised that we weren't going to give any she left us with a knowing smile and a wink just before she left the room. We both decided to have a well deserved shower and lets just say we needed another one after the things we did in it.

The next morning we were called into my parents office, with a message that they needed to talk to us urgently. When we entered the office my parents looked very stressed and it made me nerves for what was going on. "Please sit my dear, we have a few things we need to go thru before the ceremony" I looked at him confused not knowing what ceremony he was talking about, I mean how many bloody ceremonies do I still have to go thru already. I looked to Blake to see if he knew anything but he looked just as confused as me. "You two will understand in a moment when I explain everything"

He then started the meeting, letting us know that my mother and him have decided to retire and the ceremony we had to attend was for us taking over as king and queen. I looked at them dumb founded not knowing what to say at this seeing as they were still young. "I don't understand father, why would the two of you decide to retire now, what happened that forced you to make this move?" I asked my father with a blank look on my face knowing the foreboding feeling I had was dead on from the look on my fathers face.

"The king and queen of the werewolf's have made a threat against us if we don't give you back to them" he said with a sigh and his shoulders slumped. "But me and Blake are mates we went thru all the ceremonies and we marked each other, they can't have a claim over me" I told him with a frown on my and looking down at my hands. "That is true my child but you also went thru a ceremony and mating process with them" he explained looking sad. "Yes but I didn't know they were trying to con me hell I didn't even know anything about this world or that it existed until they kidnapped me and took me to their castle, plus I was forced to go thru the first ceremony where they bonded me to their son" I almost screamed out of frustration.

My life was going so good, why did there always seem to be someone or something trying to ruin it for me. Blake place a hand on my shoulder to push me down in the chair, I didn't even realize I got up while talking. "We know that my dear and that is why your mother and I are stepping down, because if you and Blake get married and take over as king and queen they won't have a claim on you" the realization of what he said suddenly hit me. Again my decisions are being made for me I had no say in them. The anger inside me started to grow. "And if we don't get married and take over from you? What will happen then?" I asked him with burning eyes, Blake's hold on my hand tightened and I knew he could feel my anger.

"Then they would declare war on us and a lot of people will get hurt and die" my father answered me while rubbing his hand over his face. I got up again still fuming and turned around to leave, but I turned to him just before I opened up the door. "Fine, if this is the only way to keep the people save I will do it, but understand that I am not happy about this and there will be precautions made so something like this doesn't happen again in the future" I told my father with a determent look on my face and then left the room. Walking away I heard my father tell my mother, "She is going to be one amazing queen" with pride in his voice......
