"Elias you must get out of this house! It's been a long while since her passing and you have no need to stay locked in this house. Relocate if you must. You know very well that she wouldn't have wanted this." Lindel says pacing back and forth in front of his mage friend. He flailed his hands in the air, gesturing to both the house and his friend's physical state. The tall being looks down sadly, because he knew his friend was right. After years went by he stopped counting, and even though decades passed he could never forget their time together. He grew to love Chise more than anything and couldn't bring himself to believe she was gone. He couldn't help blaming himself, and convinced himself that it was his fault. Lindel couldn't bring himself to say it out loud but he knew that the thorn mage had cried himself to sleep, on more than one occasion. Elias plays with his fingers, and Echo kneels in front of his close friend. "Please, for your sake and your friend's, please go outside and at least walk around. Go to town or the forest or even the Aerie. Somewhere that isn't here." Elias stands up, hovering above Lindel and nods once. "I can't forget about her." "I'm not asking you to forget her. I'm asking you to move on." The blonde replies. Elias looks at the male quickly, but sighs nodding. The blonde walks to the door, puts his hood up, and leaves. The thorn mage waits a few moments, debating where he wanted to go. Finally he chooses to go to town. He places the red veil over his face and walks toward town.
"(Y/n) hurry home from town. You have to watch your brother while your father and I go out." The girl's stepmother calls to the (h/c) girl. The young girl begins running into town, but Elias could see the tears threatening to escape her beautiful (e/c) orbs. He couldn't help following her around, from a safe distance, so she wouldn't catch him. The girl bought a handful of items from a few shops around town. Some food, books and fabric. Elias was now curious about the girl. Nearly 15 minutes had passed when she finally began heading home. Elias follows the girl home. When the (h/c) arrived home she was scolded for taking too long. The mage nearly came out of his hiding spot when the woman struck the child and she fell to the ground. The items in the bag her hand held dropped out and scattered across the gravel. The stepmother walks to the car her husband is waiting in. Once she is in the man drives off.
