That was the best night I've had since.. well.. ever.
I was 19, almost 20, and I can't say that I've ever had a more fun night in my whole life. Not even gonna hide it, I think the people next to me were high off their minds, so that made it even more different than what I'm used to.
Back at the hotel room, Paige and I swiped through the photos we caught, one I flipped to made my heart skip a beat. He was staring directly at the camera with a smirk on his face.
Just perfect timing, right? Not like he meant to be looking. I'm just a fan like everyone else there.
The rest of the hotel was silent, which meant that Paige and I had to be quiet, it was 2 am after all.
The pizza on our small coffee table was getting cold, but we were just about full and couldn't eat anymore. We would head back home tomorrow, after sightseeing of course.
~The next day came with a bang, and by that I mean Paige shoved me out of the bed with her freezing cold feet. I don't even think she's human, nobody could have feet that cold.
Sightseeing time. We didn't leave the area much, so this was perfect. Time to see things we wouldn't normally see, like an actual mall. Nearest one to us is an hour away and still very small.
So putting my hair into another top knot, I got dressed and headed out to the car. Our things already out of the hotel room so we wouldn't come back, we would just go home after.
"Have you noticed that guy?" Paige whispered to me as we were looking through Hot Topic at a local mall we stumbled upon. "He's been in every store we've gone to.. even Victoria's Secrets.."
That was a little unsettling, but nobody would do anything to us in a public mall right? Too many people. I looked around subtlety, and sure enough she was right. A man of average stature in a black hoodie, baseball cap, and sunglasses was pretending to look at some band merch down the aisle.
"Pay him no mind.. maybe he just wants your number but is too shy to ask!" I tried to be optimistic, a curse of mine."You could be right, I guess we'll find out."
Later on we decided to go see a movie. Some new romance comedy or something, I'd never heard of it. Creepy, but the guy in the hoodie disappeared. Was a little grateful for that. Instead, a new guy in a hoodie caught my eye, he was in a dark grey hoodie, with a black baseball cap, he wore thick framed glasses. He was rather attractive, but way out of my league. Almost as if he was commanded, he walked over and took a seat to me, it was just then who I realize was sitting next to me.
I didn't want to say it, for the risk of being mistaken, but the moment he said hello I knew for a fact this was Brendon Urie.
The guy I've wanted to meet for years.
