"No?" I was confused. I had never heard of any problems with Sarah.
"Look it up." She said with a small sigh, her tone not as bubbly as it normally was. "Just google Brendon and Sarah Urie."
I did as she said, and there were tons of news articles.
"Sarah Urie might not stay a Urie much longer!"
"Sarah Urie caught with another man?"
"Sarah sure smiles, just not towards her husband"
My heart sank. Sarah had been caught with another man, and apparently it wasn't the first time.. they just didn't come out about it until the press caught her with the newest mister.
Brendon filed for divorce last week..
"Oh god... that's awful" I said closing my phone and putting it on my lap. "I had no clue!"
"He's not a major star, not compared to the Kardashians, that's why most magazines haven't covered it. Likely why you didn't see.. one of my Facebook friends shared it."
"I feel so bad for him. Nobody should have to go through that. They seemed so... happy."
I picked up my phone again, checking Instagram. Sarah had removed her last name from her page, and I couldn't find many photos of her and Brendon, just one or two, some had definitely been deleted. Brendon's page was the same way.
I thought back to my past, I knew how he felt. Nobody should ever have to feel that. My father... he ruined my mother's life, my life... so much pain and trauma. Marriage is a promise, it's sickening when people choose to break it.
"She seemed bitchy if you ask me, maybe he's better off." Paige tried to lighten the mood, but it was a failed effort.
I decided to text Brendon.
"Did you try the sandwich shop?"
It was a mere two seconds before I saw the little grey bubble pop up to show that he was typing.
"Hell yeah! Was super stoked to try it!! 🥪"
He replied with a gif of Patrick (from Spongebob) eating a mountain of burgers. I smiled slightly
"I suppose I'll have to try it next time then! 😄"
"Maybe we could go together 😊"
My heart started racing. Did he want to hang out with me again? God this sounds like some Wattpad fan fiction coming to life. If only my old readers could see me now.
"Sounds fun!"
AN: I know this was short, am v sorry. Also I love Sarah but I needed beebo to be a single Pringle 😩 I have nothing against Sarah Urie. She's a beautiful goddess.
