"Wow kinda sad he just left us" Paige sighed as she stood up and began to walk away from me, ready to exit the theatre. "Are you coming or not? I'm getting pretty hungry"
To be honest, I was starving. Food hadn't really been on my mind today, so I haven't eaten. I stood up with a nod and began to exit the theatre, ready to find a place to eat.
We decided on a food court in the mall, it would be cheaper than going to a restaurant, and we both could pick whatever place we wanted. I picked a Japanese hibachi place, and got some good-ass food. Paige, well, she chose the McDonalds there, and was boring and got the same thing as always. For someone who's rich, she eats like a starving college student.
It had been a good hour and a half since our movie ended, I was still in shock. Brendon actually put his number into my phone? But, would he text me? I didn't want to seem like some clingy fan, so I probably wouldn't text first, not gonna lie there. The car ride home wasn't very entertaining, we were both super tired, so we didn't wanna talk much. Stopping for coffee was a nice solution.
I got an iced caramel latte, Paige got some Frappuccino. As I sat in the car listening to music, my phone dinged.
"Hey there!"
Did he really just text me? My phone dinged again
"I'm still stuck around here, any good places to eat?"
I didn't live in that town, but a simple google search found to be quite useful.
"Hey! Yeah, I'm not actually from here, so I can't give my own personal opinion, but I did some research for ya!"
I sent him a link to the yelp results
"Sweet! They've got a local sandwich shop with a five star rating!! 😆🥪"
I rolled my eyes and smiled at his childish humor. Paige was leaning over from the passenger seat and eyeing my screen.
"He's texting you!!! I knew this would happen, you two are gonna fall in love and have lots of little awkward emo babies who all end up getting addicted to weed and gymnastics. They'll be so musically talented." She held her hand to her heart with a romantic sigh.
"Hey hey, first of all you can't really get addicted to weed... I don't think. Second of all, no that's not going to happen! He's married!"
"Not anymore."
"What are you talking about?"
"You didn't see that article?"
