Goodbye is different from bye.
I love you is different from love you.
Goodnight is different from night.
Good morning is different from morning.
To some the only difference between them all is the absence of one word.
But the truth is some have love, and passion behind them the others have no love.
When you tell me goodbye I know you care and are sending me away with a positive salutation and hope I am good, when bye to me feels like you don't care and couldn't care less how you send me off.
I love you means worlds different than love you, love you is something a friend from a class says to you when you send them the notes, even tho you know damn well you'll probably never speak to this person after the class is over with. But when someone tells you "I love you" they mean they love you, they care, they hope nothing ever bad happens to you, and that you're forever happy because you deserve nothing less.
Goodnight is a positive send off someone who cares would tell you sending you into a sweet sleep with dreams of adventures, and happiness. Whereas night is a time where it's dark and the world is silent and empty much like the way the word is given to another human... empty and silent.
When night turns into day that person who loves you tells you good morning hoping you wake up bright and happy and ready to take on the morning good and nothing can stop you. Morning like night seems empty it's only a time of day no way to wake up to.
Those one words make these phrases and sayings have entirely different meanings, it's crazy what one word can do...it can make worlds of a difference.
