(Sydney's POV)

"Cameron do you know where my perfume is?" I asked while looking around my house, today was our one month anniversary. I went back to my room to look at my vanity to see if it was there.

"Didn't you leave it at my house?" He stood in the doorway of my room. I looked at him and sighed. "Damn, that was my favorite one!"

"Eh, it's okay. I like this one better." He held up the Selena Gomez perfume. "Of course you do." I said while rolling my eyes, he wraps his arms around me and kisses my shoulder. "You look beautiful." Cameron said while looking at my reflection in the mirror.

"It's hard to believe that we're together..." I say, "I mean, it feels like just yesterday I was sitting behind you in geometry.."

"Why didn't you say you liked me before?"

"Cause I was nervous and scared that you wouldn't like me back.."

"Well, I'm here aren't I? So I obviously like you..a lot!" He pecked my lips and grabbed my hand, dragging us out of my room. "We can't be late for our date." The biggest smile was on his face.

Ever since Cameron and I started dating, I haven't heard from Hannah or Zach. Cameron and Zach have been avoiding each other. They only talk about the band when it was necessary, it sucks that things had to come to this but life happens.

Part of me feels guilty for ratting out Hannah but I push down the guilt, she always gets what she wants and for once she needs to know what it's like to be unwanted.

Besides, Cameron and I are perfectly happy without her. This was the way things were meant to be.

"Sydney we're here." Cameron has stopped the car, I was so lost in thought that I didn't even notice the car moving in the first place.

"The beach?" I ask.

"Yep! C'mon, race you to the sand? The first one to fall has to..."

"Has to wash the dishes!"

"Oh you're on!" Cameron got out the car and started running, I unbuckle my seatbelt and get out the car to run with him.

Since I wasn't much of a runner..or athletic kind of girl, Cameron won. "Okay, you don't have to wash the dishes." He said to me. "Thank you!"

We laid down a blanket so we can lay on it. Cameron sat down on the blanket, patting the spot next to him. I sit next to him and look up at the stars. It was peaceful. We stayed like that for a few minutes before Cameron's phone rang. "Who is it?" I ask.

"It's...Michael.." There was confusion in his voice.

"Answer it!" Why would Michael be calling Cameron out of the blue?

"Okay. I'll be right back." Cameron got up from the blanket.

(Cameron's POV)

"Hello?"

"Cam! How's it goin?" Michael sounded really happy.

"Uh, I'm on a date..with my girlfriend.."

"You got a girlfriend? BALLIN!" I couldn't help but smile at how much of an idiot Michael is.

"Yeah, it's our one month anniversary."

"Dude that's great! Speaking of girlfriends, I met this beautiful blonde the other day.."

"Ohh, interesting! Tell me about her, Mike!"

"She has the most beautiful blue eyes and- wait, she said she knows you. Why should I be describing her to you?" He laughed.
