(A/N) if you had any confusion on the last chapter it should be cleared up in this one! Sorry that this chapter took a little bit longer to write, I've been busy and had a little bit of writer's block

(Hannah's POV)

Zach and I were finally back in California. Since Zach was too tired to drive back to his house he stayed the night at my apartment. My cat meows at us while I guided sleepy Zach to my bedroom. "Oh by the way...who watched your cat while we were gone?" Zach mumbled, I kept dragging him to the bedroom. "I asked if Sydney could feed my cat and take care of her."

"Ooooh. She actually said yes? I thought you guys hate each other..."

"No we're over that now." Zach bumped his shoulder against the door frame. "Ow..."

I laughed and lead him to the bed. He was more tired than me and I didn't even get that much sleep last night.

I still don't understand why Cameron was in Washington...that thought kept haunting my brain. Thanks to him I can't sleep. Every time I close my eyes I see Cameron's face. The expression he held made my heart ache. He looked like a lost puppy...

I decided to text Cameron anyway. I didn't care if it's late or not; speaking of which I should check the time.

Eleven o'clock at night.

To Cameron:

We need to talk. Are you available?

From Cameron:

Are you back from your flight? ✈️

To Cameron:

Yeah. Zach is asleep. Should we meet up at the park or something?

From Cameron:

Yeah that's perfect! See ya there in about 10 minutes!

I drove by the park to see Cameron sitting on one of the park benches. I park my car and walk up to him, sitting in the empty spot next to Cameron. "What did you want to talk to me about?" He looked at me with his beautiful green eyes.

"Why did you visit me in Washington last night?" I ask while looking away, avoiding eye contact.

"What? I was in California this whole week..."

Excuse me? He must be lying I-I saw him! He held onto my chin, he tried to kiss me! How could he not have been in Washington?!

"Hannah are you okay?" That made me look at him. I rose an eyebrow before answering.

"Am I okay? You mean are you okay! You were the one that decided to fly to Washington and try to seduce me at three in the morning!"

Cameron looked really confused. "Um..I didn't do that. You were probably dreaming?"

"No! I wasn't dreaming! You touched me-" his eyebrows shot up in surprise by what I said, "NO NOT LIKE THAT!"

"You said around three in the morning, right?"

"Yeah...why?" Where the hell is he going with this? I swear he was there! How could he not be?

"Three is haunting hour," his face was serious, "you could've been sleep deprived or maybe you really were just dreaming. So many possibilities."

I guess he really wasn't there. The silence of the park seemed relaxing. I haven't heard peaceful silence in a while. Life has been pretty crazy lately and it's only going to get crazier.
