(A/N) chapter twenty! Wow who would've thought that I actually kept up on a story this long? Certainly not me! Anyway how do you guys like the story? Do you ship Cannah (cam&hannah) or Zannah? (zach&hannah) let me know in the comments! Sorry it's kind of a short chapter but I have more things planned in future chapters!
-----------------------------
(Cameron's POV)
Sydney finally went home but it was only to get her stuff so she could move in tomorrow. Ugh what have I gotten myself into? This relationship is moving too fast. I stare at my phone, tempted to call Hannah. Ever since the kiss I've had this weird feeling. Like, I feel like I need her by my side all the time. I actually can't stand Hannah and Zach dating. That should be me!
But Zach is my friend and he is happy. I can't ruin his happiness. Why is this so confusing? I can't just sit here and want Hannah all to myself without telling anybody about it. I can't just keep this locked up inside.
I grab my phone and dial Hannah's number. No answer. Of course she probably hates me now. I messed everything up! Maybe I just need to forget about her and focus on Sydney.
That's what I've been doing for a while now.
I wonder what Hannah is doing, though.
(Hannah's POV)
It was nine-thirty and our family took us to this family owned restaurant for breakfast with my brother. Only one thing, my brother wasn't here yet. Zach decided to put on the nicest, yet somewhat casual shirt that he packed. He looked nice. Of course I just wore a white dress that you would wear to church.
"How long has your brother been going to college?" Zach whispered to me. Right then my brother walked in with his arms wide open, anticipating hugs from the family.
"Why don't you ask him?" I say before getting out of my seat and make my way to my brother.
"Hannah Banana!" He says while hugging me. I laugh and pull away and try to hold back happy tears. I missed my brother a whole lot. He was my best friend.
"Who's that?" My brother gestures to Zach, which he was standing behind me all awkwardly. "My boyfriend." I say casually.
"Well why don't we all just take a seat?" My mother said while sitting in her seat at the table. When we all were seated the waitress came by and took all of our orders.
"So, how long have you been going to college....?" Zach paused, waiting for my brother to introduce himself.
"Taylor, and I'm on my third year." He said with a smile. "Are you in college?" Taylor asks while taking a sip of orange juice.
"No not anymore. I only went for one year." Zach held my hand under the table. He must be nervous or something.
"Why aren't you in school anymore?" My father blurted out. I can't tell if he likes Zach yet.
"Well I wanted to be in a band and make music, but my dad wanted me to go to college," my father groaned but Zach continued his story anyway, "so I made a deal with him that I go to college for one year and if the band doesn't get signed or get famous then I'll go back to college."
"So did your 'band' get signed?" My mother asked with a small look of disgust on her face. This can't be good.
"Yeah, we've actually been quite successful."
"Congrats dude! I wish I could be in a band! Did you guys get famous?" My brother asked with a huge smile on his face. He looked very intrigued with Zach's life.
"Somewhat... I wouldn't consider us famous. We used to be on the Disney channel a long time ago, then we left Hollywood Records and went unsigned for awhile. Last year we announced that the band was changing the name and our genre of music. The fans we had were very supportive, although we've lost quite a lot. We released the new band's debut album last October and we went on our first tour two months ago. Also we got signed to a new record label and re-released our debut album!" Zach looked over at me, I loved the way his face lit up when he talked about the band. He was following his dream.
"Interesting...but you're still not going to go to college?" My mother asked as if she wasn't listening to Zach at all.
"Mom!" Taylor and I said at the same time.
"What? He still needs an education."
Zach looked down at the table boing his lower lip. I rubbed his back to try and comfort him. "Zach, honey, I'm sorry about my mom.." I whisper in his ear.
"It's fine." He said aloud.
"Well, I can't wait till you guys get married!" Taylor said when the waitress came by with the food that we ordered.
"Married?!" Everyone but Taylor said in sync, exchanging worried, confused looks.
Taylor laughed and started eating whatever was his plate. "Oh, man! Zach I can't wait to have you in the family!"
Zach smiled his goofy smile. "I can't wait to be in the family."
(Cameron's POV)
I decided to go for a run to get my mind off of everything that has been happening. Life is pretty crazy. I stopped running when I heard Maps by Maroon 5 came on my iPod. I bit my bottom lip and focused on the lyrics. I couldn't help but think of Hannah.
"Shit..." I whisper to myself. I missed her. I need her.
"Oh my gosh! Are you Cameron Quiseng?" A voice asked me. I turn around to see a girl with a Tragic Thrills shirt. She looked familiar, I probably saw her from a show. "Yes, yes I am. Hey, you look familiar!"
"Yeah I saw you guys on warped tour last year. Remember? I gave you and Michael gifts."
"Oh yeah, you gave me a stuffed giraffe!" I smiled at her. I loved it when fans get excited.
"Yes! Anyway can I get a picture with you?"
"Sure. I hope you don't mind that I'm kinda gross.."
"It's fine!"
*********
"Where have you been?" Sydney came out of our room as soon as I walked through the front door.
"I went on a run and said hi to a few fans." I say casually and close the door behind me.
"Did they hit on you or anything?"
"Are you kidding me? They're underage. You can't get jealous over a few fans, Sydney. I'm going to go take a shower." I kiss her on the cheek and go to the bathroom.
The warm water on my skin melted away my stress, but the worried thoughts were still lingering in my mind.
I need to break it off with Sydney...quick.
